- We love everyone. Let me start out with that. I'm a big subscriber to John Lennon's theory of 'All you need is love,' but I understand that in the fight game and in life, there are people you just won't get along with. Calvin had Susie, Dracula had Van Helsing, Chael has Anderson and so on. It's obvious from this interview LayzieTheSavage conducted with Ronda Rousey that Miesha and the Champ may also be building upon a feud that may last a lifetime.
We can't wait to see Cat Zingano and Ronda battle in the Octagon, but man, we may have missed out on the most real feud on TUF since BJ/Jens.

Ronda and Miesha should fight ultimate surrender style
Ronda is only 5'6, and isn't used to competing at 145 with a lot of muscle. If you look at her judo matches or earlier MMA fights, she was rather soft looking 145+ lbs. I'm not sure adding a lot of muscle would be a good thing against Cyborg... especially when your're not used to competing with it. She might hurt her stamina and gas out.
It's basically contrived feuds vs real ones.
I don't agree that they are realistic or obvious sins. My arms show a LOT of veins and it's just a result of not having too high body-fat and/or possibly a little genetic circumstances, and I'm about 140 myself. I certainly don't take any steroids, haha.
Listen, those are just signs of cutting slightly more because she gained muscle-weight and then lowered her body fat percentage!!!!
Nothing about that in any way indicates steroids! It's training changes.

ronda is good at what she does and I respect her more than any man I know, as far as having spirit, but I hope cat rips her head off. just to make myself clear, I believe that any person that is competing at their best is representing what the human body can do. I don't think there is any reason to talk crap on either woman.... just saying. we as the observers we are, should appreciate what these people put their bodies through.

Ronda created those feuds with her mouth. Had she stayed respectful, there's no heat between her and Miesha or Cyborg. Notice that their only problem with Ronda is her flapping her gums about them.
But Tate is hated outside of trash talk. Tara has accused Miesha of roiding. Of being lazy in training, and being in the sport only for the attention. Evinger has accused Miesha of refusing to fight her. Coenen did the same when Tate pulled out of their fight because of a knee injury.
Whereas you can tell that Tara has absolutely no respect for Miesha. She doesn't think Miesha deserves to be getting any attention. Evinger hasn't been as nasty as her, but she pulls no punches either. Both women were looking forward to getting in the TUF house and making Miesha miserable. This is a level of hate probably excedes Ronda's.
As far as Coenen's call out, all she said was that she wanted to fight Ronda. Didn't accuse of her ducking or faking an injury like she did Miesha.
Huh? Cyborg was almost 20 for the Paes loss, and she fought Porto just 6 months later. How does her young age explain the huge change in her physique in that short time? Or bthe ones later? I mean, compare her body against Carano with the one that faced Muxlow. You're going to tell me that's natural? And don't bring up drug tests. You have people that have admitted using that have never tested postive. Heck, look at Marion Jones. Went through olympic level testing, and never got caught once.
Ronda's stem completely from her trash talk. Whereas several girls just seem to have absolutely no respect for Miesha as a person and a fighter. I encourage you to look up "Miesha Tate vs Tara Larosa" here on YT for their heated argument. That was years ago, and Tara still hates her to this day. As does Evinger. Ronda's feuds with Miesha and Cyborg are tame in comparison.
The funny thing is that Ronda has been involved in less feuds than Tate. Miesha and Tara LaRosa have been hating on each other for years. Tonya Evinger accused Tate of ducking her and can't stand her either. Both said they were looking forward to making her life miserable if she was the TUF coach and they got in the house. Then you have the very polite Marloes Coenen calling Tate out, saying she made up her knee injury in order to duck their fight.
Cyborg was 140 for the Baszler fight. She was also noticeably smaller for her first loss against Paes (looked closer to 135 than 145), than suddenly looks much bigger and ripped 6 months later against Vanessa Porto. Than comes in the smallest she's been in years against Muxlow after getting busted for roids. But Ronda is the one who is cheating? It will be interesting to see if Cyborg suddenly balloons up in weight again and struggles to make 145.
Regarding Judo, there's no public mention of rampant steroid abuse. However, with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, there is; and that goes along with an admittance by some in that community that it's totally unnecessary, not to mention it disgraces the spirit of a martial art and sport that the late Helio Gracie and his sons and grandsons helped to develop and refine for nearly ninety years.
Ronda's not taking steroids, especially considering all the humiliating situations she had to woman-up on to get through her drug-testing in the Olympics.
Besides, judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu were designed for smaller people to take down bigger people using technique and leverage, not physical strength. Royce Gracie forgot that when he got busted, but I'm more forgiving toward him than I am toward Cyborg. He at least admitted to it. What's Santos done?
Pal, you're right on both counts; and you can blame Tate for not keeping her stuff together, saying one minute she admired Rousey for her accomplishments and then burying her the next with the "not on her level" garbage.
While Tate wrestled in high school, Rousey was in her first Olympics; Tate and Rousey are the same age, by the way.
And no matter what Tate says, Rousey's still in her head. That armbar attempt against Alpha Cat was a complete fail, along with that knee-related TKO.

Ronda has the title. Cyborg had her chance after Rousey called her out last August to cut weight and fight her in Strikeforce or UFC. She messed up; so did Tate by losing her last fight; and now Zingano's next to fight Rousey.
Bold statement right there. Cat may be 8-0 right now, but even if Rousey was to lose to her, as you predict, she still smokes Zingano in terms of how fast -- how efficiently -- she's won all of her matches.
Plus, Sarah Kaufman proved that being a great striker means nothing if you're on the ground, tied up, and can't hit or kick because you're close to getting your arm wishboned by an Olympic Bronze Medal judoka.
Rousey's not conceited. It ain't bragging if she can take out Zingano.
I've contended for a little while now, that she might be slowly gaining muscle weight in order for a legitimate catch-weight or even 145 weight fight with Cyborg, by getting physically stronger.
The point again is, you can do EXACTLY(!!) what she did in terms of physical gains and fat loss, show veins more and everything in the time frame she didn't it, without steroids! I am not guessing on this, I know it for a fact!
However, I don't know for a fact that she didn't cheat anyway, but still..
Im just watching these videos of her short MMA career and seeing her physique change noticeably from fight to fight. She's now clearly cutting more weight before her fights and coming into the cage noticeably heavier than in past fights. The added weight is now more vascular and even showing vains more than in past fights. Not saying I know she uses drugs. Just being very realistic about obvious signs
Again, literally nothing she has gained or toned in her body is an indicator of steroid use. You're totally right that it can help you shed bodyFAT and bodyfat percentage while decreasing overall weight if dieted that way, but she didn't become insanely ripped out of nowhere. She looks absolutely natural for the time period she has had and been training for. NOTHING about her indicates steroid use. You're outright assuming it!! I'm not promising you're wrong, but I think you're being overzealous
Cyborg always faught at 145 and continued to make that weight on steroids. Nate Marquart, got his TRT exemption and dropped from 185 to 170. Vitor used to fight at 205 but now uses TRT to fight at 185..... The point I'm getting at is that testosterone doesn't always guarantee bulky weight gains. If used with a good diet it will help DECREASE weight. In reguards to Ronda it appears to have helped her shed fat and build lean muscle mass. Thus keeping her at 135
If we find out that she is using PED's then I would lose a lot of respect for her. Several athletes, including Cyborg, have tested positive for something and I have not dismissed all their accolades, and Ronda's Arm bar technique is great in itself with hip drive built from having a JUDO background, so she shouldn't need them...but, she has been so derogatory in her rants about Cyborg being a cheater that she better not be one herself, haha!

They would indeed make her parts recover and grow faster but, she isn't growing at an unnatural rate. If she was 170 and now couldn't make it to 135 all of a sudden, then we would have an issue. Pissing clean doesn't matter too much but, assuming that most female fighters are literally on anabolic steroids to me is different wrong more often than assuming men are. Some women do cheat of course, but I think it's presumptuous to say that she IS on them. If she fights Cyborg testing should be had!
I see your side of things John but I'd like to clarify something real quick. Steroids help an athlete recover quicker through protein synthasis. So if Ronda is training her stand up often as you mentioned, she would grow more muscle quicker in thise muscles used in striking. (Shoulders, traps, back, etc....) So I'm not really saying roids are making her grow huge shoulders. But i am saying the roids would accelerate growth in the muscles trained most.
As much as you're being way too harsh on her and making semi-wild assumptions (your reasoning about the body shape being roid-indicative is disproved by science already but, I can't prove she isn't taking them anyway either), and as much as she should NEVER have had to move up to fight Cyborg when SHE'S the CHAMP and isn't "ducking" or "being protected" (more hatred based nonsense).....................................................the reality still is.. if they fight, I'm picking Cyborg, haha!
Not everyone thinks to ask for testing. Especially women. Can we stop with speculation that comes with no evidence. You dislike her. Period. All of your claims come from that. You call her one-dimensional but, shes' training stand-up often and intensely. Also, she can talk about Miesha's skills. She BEAT Miesha (if someone is great at one thing only truly then you only have one thing to stop and still couldn't?), but I do agree that Miesha was winning the stand-up for a bit first.

But from what I have seen in most of Rouseys interviews she doesn't have much respect for anyone anyone, except a few people in her life..She has the wrong ideas about what life is, I was on the streets also,, I still barely have two Penney's to rub together, But I refuse to lose my humanity.

My feel on Cat is that she's more of a strong but silent type. More like a Fedor or Cyborg ... very sweet and polite outside the cage but a cold killer inside it. I don't think the mind games will work with her. Unless it's to cause her to to be so enraged that she rushes in and makes a mistake.
Carmouche and Kaufman were too smart to get drawn into a war of words with Ronda. They absolutely refused to play her game at any point. So Ronda was forced to can the trash talk and just hype herself up for those fights. She's admitted as much in interviews.

I think it is just part of MMA game - a freak show. A lot of male fighters do that as well. Without Ronda's words, we won't have the division of women fighters in UFC. Some female fighters spoke out about their rivals too. That's why she's 'Rowdy'.
I disagree. Cat's words are very clear. She is getting sick of Miesha whining about the stoppage. If there is a rematch, Cat is going to try to brutalize her even worse. So Miesha can't complain later that she wasn't really finished.
Cyborg popped for roids and Ronda soon will. Cyborg is a phenomenal fighter and will destroy Ronda if they ever fight. Ronda knows this as much as anyone. I think once Ronda finally gets popped, she'll finally stop duck Cyborg and take the fight.
Ronda is the champion, Cyborg is not, Ronda gets to make the demands.

Making weight is mandatory for all fighters, just because Cyborg has extra roid weight doesnt make her an exception.

I think a lot of people don't understand the context. Before the Strikeforce bout, Meisha's boyfriend publicly said that he wanted to beat up Ronda. That's why she's calling him out, not just Tate.
