After 100+ hours in pvp I really think assault is one of the strongest classes in game. I would rank him slightly below tactical who’s an absolute S+ tier in both pvp and pve.
You know, with 3 jump charges the assault agility is so high that i suppose he can be labeled the Rogue class if this was like a high fantasy RPG game, but what makes it great is that you have a massive FUCK ALL hammer that makes the twinkness of playing a rogue in pvp go away lmao
Amazing gameplay. I'm an assault main, I am level 13 and only have like maybe 24 hrs total in this game. What would you recommend I work on and be better at as an assault main so that I stand out in all my games? I notice I've greatly increased my KD and overall map domination by being better at engaging and disengaging fights or flanks. Thank you and I can't wait to see more of this content! I'm planning on uploading some gameplay also.

Great vid, but it helps that much of the opposition looks braindead. One thing I liked about SM1 is that private lobbies made it easy - and common - to set up matches between teams full of strong players. Which made for impressive videos, too. But SM2 devs don't really seem to give much of a shit about PVP...
Jump on the from corner, don’t try to attack on ground just immediately jump again - at very least you will heavily dmg few of them while providing TONS of spacing for your team
1. Yes, it usually happens when you fly out from behind cover/flanking enemy. Unfortunately, many assaulters I've encountered fly right in front of my face. Sometimes it works, sometimes no 2. If a enemy presses block, then me immediately press a powerful attack that cannot be blocked. Examples can be seen at 0:38 and 4:01 The most effective way is to just try to kill the assaulter, because due to his mobility you won't be able to run away from him, and due to his heavy punch you won't be able to block him
True, like most highlites when you have an opponent looking at you it's hard to do anything which is why I try to do most of my attacks by flanking the opponent
I don't know is it just lucky moments, or your routine gameplay, but for me if I don't fly up instantly for another slam, and chose to go for poke attack like you do, I just die before my poke even goes there. If it's happens when I'm in line of sight of at least two enemies and one get jumped on by me. Wasting fuel charges for pokes which can be blocked is... Bold. Either you have very low ping and good connection and that's why you don't instantly die by fire, or either enemies shown here are just blind or can't aim) You missed the opportunity to make clips with melta bomb dropping on grouped enemies
im from siberia, my minimal ping 100 i died instanlty when i start play, now its not hard to make 15+ kills if u playing for assault just flank enemy, u can ez kill them from behind

Просто меня удивило что ты тратишь ранец ради обычных атак и вообще постоянно делаешь эти обычные атаки. У меня давно развилась паранойя что меня застрелит в спину тиммейт атакуемого, поэтому я просто и надёжно атакую слэм атаками пока есть топливо, и только потом обычными. Против 15-30 пинговых западных партнёров реально ваншоты прилетают когда они стреляют, особенно по раптору с 2 брони и бОльшим хитбоксом из за ранца
я тоже играл на ассаулте в ЕК на квик релоад, мне нравится не отпускать цель и чейзить её, в идеале это делаю через пробел, но если цель чуть отдалилась, то надежнее ранцем догнать, а слэмы сверху я трачу, когда в толпу влетаю, чтобы задеть более одной цели хз у меня не возникало проблем каких-то серьезных как у тебя

You must be fighting pretty terrible players, anytime I go up onto the air for a follow up ambush like you I instantly get shot out of the air because they aren't dumb enough to not aim upwards.

Meanwhile when I play assault the whole enemy team is stacked, hyper aware and does perfect parry for the follow up after ground pound.
