That's actually taken from the vocal melody in the second verse, "some people need three dozen roses" -- it's really amazing how Alicia and her band perform that bit live. Check it out "Alicia Ain't Got You London 2012 iTunes" will bring it up in RUclips search. Not sure why Allie didn't sing the second verse in this performance (repeated the first verse instead).

@@jimclancy6715 hi jim cheers it's a hard one and I am sure allie is really pleased with her progress and Ryan's imput and together they will go far but I can't help comparing the performance of the sam Smith upload yesterday and the alicia keys busking one to what's been released under ryan he obviously realizes how good she is so why feel the need to sanitize her vocals so much that she doesn't need to Express herself physically or emotionally will always baffle me lol. but I will sit back now and wait and hope the busking returns very soon hope your well and staying safe.✌❤

@@amar9595 that's what I am saying amar the video's made by her father are in my humble opinion are far more natural and organic than the recent official ones released under ryan such as the etta James which I felt was over produced.but allie will be a superstar either way. 👍stay safe.
@@MrTreehugger50 The 'producers' should not 'industrialize' Allie and turn her songs into cookie cutter mush like what happened to American country music. Just for once, let's enjoy a REAL voice and talent before the 'Autotune' and the electronics 'enhancements' kills it completely. Today's singers are becoming '"you hear one you hear 'em all" coming out of the same mold. Let's keep the really talented buskers as something different to the usual electronicked to death 'stuff' that destroys the natural feelings that a song and singer want's to project.
