These are very beautiful. I tried with 2mm cord and making botched out of it

Thank you! Did you cut your cords a little longer? 2mm is twice as thick as the cord I used, but I'm sure the end result can be wonderful. Why do you think it didn't work for you?

Hi, could you suggest an alternative for E-6000 glue?

Hi there, I've only used the E-6000 glue to glue on earring backs, but I'm sure there are others too. Any glue that is strong and dries transparent should work. Good luck in your search!

Why do you use 2 glues? What difference there are.

One is with a really thin and handy applicator tip. I don't want to use that one for bigger surfaces cause it's more expensive. The other glue works great for bigger surfaces.

    Where do
    You get your cord

Oh I don't remember where this one is from. Somewhere online. Just search for 1mm hemp cord and you'll find it.

I have made up 5 pair of the earrings. Very good tutorial! The GS applicator work well, but the SMELL is awful! It's like your sniffing paint. Does the smell go away? I wouldn't give them as a gift because they smell so bad. Disappointing. Can you give me some good advise?

Additional comment from me, Laura. It has been 24 hrs since I applied the GS cement. The smell is COMPLETELY GONE! So, please know that the smell will be gone after a day. This is a great tutorial, but didn't prepare me for that. Thank you- I love these cute little earrings and now have confidence my girls will too!

Hi Laura! Thank you for the comments! I was just about to answer that YES indeed the smell goes away. 😅 I don't have a very sensitive nose so even while using the glue I don't mind it, but my husband definitely would mind if I was wearing smelly earrings! 😂😂😂 I'm so glad that you tested the glue and that it worked for you. Yey!
