    Paul Grant Ji is my Guruji, I just love how these musicians are improvising ! Kind of improvisation in the old style, rarely seen nowadays !

    Hi Paul, could I ask what it is called when you speak the drum beat?

      In Hindustani (north indian classical) music it is called 'bol', which means that which is spoken. In south Indian classical, i.e. carnatic music, it is called 'konnakol'.
