Great video as always. You are a real influencer Kris. Your videos swayed me for the Audi A4 i have now, and all these Electric videoes are going to make me take a hybrid or electrical next time, as they will be available through our company car programme. Your trips to Italy makes me more secure that an electric can fit my needs... Can't wait :)
Bjorn says he'll give you a rematch on the race when you get your Taycan. Hopefully by that time the infastructure will be a little better and you can use the accel/decel trick to bring your battery temp to the worrect temp. Taycan has a battery temp guage so you will know when your are at the propper temp (100 degrees F).
Just a quick heads up, I'm sure you don't do it all the time, but at least on the frameless windows on the Model 3 and Y they do not recommend to close the door while holding the window, it could make the window misalign over time and also damage the rubber gasket on the door itself. I'm sure its just Tesla quality issues, but who knows :D
Ah just as i was starting my lunchbreak Kris comes with a new video of his brand new car, lovely! Small note at 8.43 you can hear a very old man exciting the car xD
I get 275 miles with my Taycan 4S. Were you in range mode? Do you know that when going to a non-Ionity charger the best way to get the car battery to 100 degrees F is to put it in sport mode and accelerate from 50 to 80, then apply the brakes to regen the battery? Getting the battery to 100 degrees seems very important to charging speed and I don't think there is any way to get the batteries to that temp when going to a non-supported charger. Does the GT have a battery temp guage?
For a charger to allocate load, it needs to have a number of voltage regulators (A charger is a voltage regulator) and the granularity of the distribution depends on the number of regulators. As each car that is charging will have a different requested voltage you cannot charge multiple vehicles off a single voltage rail. However you can gang multiple voltage regulators together to charge a single car. The tradeoff is that the more and smaller regulators you have the finer distribution granularity can be achieved, but cost goes up as the cost of a regulator does not scale linearly with capacity.
Good stuff! And of course your list will be more comprehensive in the future, but concerning your last comments about comparing the P8 and the GT in terms of driveable km's is a bit weird. The GT has a 10kW bigger battery, plus some pretty big advantages in aerodynamics due to completely different design. Both great cars in their own rights.
Are you making a video and show us panel gaps and assembling quality on the Audi? Or are you only doing this on Tesla? Besides that great video as always.
'The Grid is already full' you say how on earth will you charge when half of the cars are electric... In Sweden they asked people not to cook on cold days last winter. Hopefully the windmills will be able to provide enough this winter..
Come on guys, 30.000 subscribers soon 😊👏🤞🏻
Can't sub more then once 🇳🇴😜

Great tip, thanks 😊 Just getting used to having frameless windows, will probably take some time 😊
Keep up the good work Chris! But maybe more (and little longer) landscape sceneries between the stops would be nice.

Love the new car
Thanks! Me too 😍
Superb vid Kris !! THat E-Tron GT is really efficient !!! And looks stunning !! Greetings from Barcelona ;)
Hi,
How steady and fast is the Etron GT while charging on a 150kw charger?

Hey Kris, any chance of sharing the spreadsheet? :)

I will do a full exterior and interior tour once I get back to Norway next week 😊
@@KrisRifa great. Have a great trip and I'll follow closely online.
Such a beautiful car!

Great content, have seen several of your videos, but am going to unsubscribe if you continue to say "guys" as much as you do.
