As much as the Visby Class Corvettes look great and could probably do everything this this does, this would still be still be a great boat to keep around.
Vessle bottom is flat. So speedy boating are possible in tideless sea. 4 missles barrels are good at seashore and amphibious landings. Gas turbine combustion is better than diesel engine. Gasoline is flamable. Protect oil tank and change aviation. For assault and back to fleet safely. Good ship!
Croatia’s missile boats are originally from Finland (which is right next to Sweden). I think that those ships are similar because they are designed to same environment.
I saw this from another video, and I was like "what kind of drone is that?!?!" Those a great shots, only a real Helo could do it, if in fact it is one according to your chan name.
can we buy this form Ikea in an unassembled box :) Why sweden is so selfsufficiant with such small population and country hard to understand but respect and admire.
are they really worth it? jet engine boats? what's the range on a full tank? and how their speeds compered with regular diesel piston engines and underwater water jet engines?🤨🤔
It's not a jet engine boat per se - it's gas turbine powering waterjets. Gas turbines are VERY common on ships that need to exceed 20knots. Short range - maybe, but the operational environment was small
@@JSFofWT i see, so you're saying it's nothing but whater jets ran by gas turbines, from the video on startup it looked like they were surface jet engines because of those big exhausts or are those air intakes.
Not a ship or Arms expert or anything but I doubt they can be reloaded by itself and probably requires a dock with a crane to lower the missiles into the tubes. The tubes can probably be used quite a few times, unless the missiles come with the tube.
Yeah i mean once they are fired the ship, at some point, goes to a coastal military base where they have new missiles loaded into the tubes. It would be impressive if a ship could reload its missiles at all, at this size.
Apparently those designers have been watching Malaysian cigar boat racing. I can see the lead engineer down in the engine room, secretly squirting kerosene /methanol into the engine intake lol.
May new "frigates" wala namang significant na armas. Hahaha. Kelangan natin maraming missile boats and anti-ship coastal batteries. Missile boats para more hulls on our vast coastal sea at land-based anti-ship missiles.
Seeing all those guys out on deck makes me think there is no room for them inside. Maybe the big strategy for this little boat is for the crew to come along side their advisory and board them Like Pirates or Vikings ?
The ship is no longer in service by the Swedish Armed Forces. Now its maintained and operates by an voluntary organization and they offer tours with it. Hence all the people on deck.

Fast attack missile boat!!! Fast and Nymble, plus capable of littoral wars warfare!!! One Great Specialized Capability!! AWESOME

Good ship!
0:00 Farting at 40 knots is quite impressive
Very cool boat and cool video but as others have said you need to chill on the editing and some sounds of the gas turbines would've been great.
Now, that’s a War Ship!
I think the editing approach has given me a seizure.
I switched it off I felt dizzy with the crap editing
Looks very close to the corvettes/missile boats used by Croatia and Montenegro

I think most destroyers don’t go above 20 knots and this ship goes around 40 so it’s probably worth it going twice speed.

Where do they store the rig boat?
What’s it’s top knots
What range does it have?
Imagine these engines on a catamaran or triamaran
Can those missile tubes be reloaded and if so how many times?

It says missile ship, but either way, it’s the same concept if it’s torps or missiles: long cylinder goes into cool tube.

This tiny ship is actually more roomy than it looks on the outside.
Not comfy at all but roomy enough.
