Great build and really interested in Archvillain Games. You say their models are 32mm scale, do you think there would be a problem reducing the print size by 20% or so?
Really digging Archvillain Games models! I've printed their Demogorgon, it's a phenomenal model and looks 1million times better than the "official" D&D Demogorgon monster miniature if you want to call it a miniature lol. Your videos are great , keep up the excellent work man :).
@@SquidmarMiniatures True All 3 of you did a great job as usual I think I only had that thought in my head I had watched Black magic craft video first not knowing about this challenge and he titled his video with I probably lose 24 hour paint challenge
Just wow man. Great call on the background. It really puts the model right into the tiny world you created for it. I just watched Jeremy and Neil's videos. I must say you guys absolutely blew me away. All three of you are major inspirations for me. I can't thank you enough for bringing us along for the ride.
Emil just want to say. I love your work so much. I have not been painting for long but you have been so influential to me thank you for your inspiration. The piece is beautiful.
of the 3, i liked this one the most. i got the most natural feel from the composition and character, and the color scheme is really inviting you into the world.
1st Place: Neil (For an excellent piece slightly out of your comfort zone) 2nd Place: Emil (Because 1st place was taken) 3rd Place: Jeremy (Sadly I feel, caught on the back foot, not on his 'A' Game) All excellent works, illustrating how intense this type of crafting actually is. Well done all three of you! All winners in my mind.
This is now my favourite video of yours! You get more and more creative and honestly I can not imagine what you will do next. Thanks for the effort, work and love you put on all your projects.
Every aspect of all of these was awesome - you guys really delivered on this one! What moved me to comment, though, was the cardboard backing piece. It was worthy of a professional commission, ON YOUR FIRST TRY! Such a wonderful example of talent!
Back drop piece , you have never attempted before ?? Off the ice theme, but you've hit this out of the park ! Runner up between your missus sandwich craft and Neil's youngsters . No, loved all three, thanks. Just Wow !
I have to say i love your motivation and the way you always push yourself with new ideas and new methods to stay interested in what you are doing. It reflects on the videos you are doing. 👍🏽 Keep the good work going
Stunning final result Emil. Great work. Also my favorite video that you've created in a while. I doubt 24hr challenges are a workable way to create content for the channel but seeing full multi-faceted pieces like this is really awesome.
I think that background panel looks a lot like a doorway to another world. I've seen that type of image with multiply "frames" behind it in a diagonal stairway effect. Might be cool. Awesome looking piece.
a few questions 1. have you ever aquired obvious rip-offs and counterfiet minies? like ones that companies have had or could have legal actions taken by the original designer/company. 2. how would you convert a nutcracker into a boss/hero for tabletop gaming? How would you convert ornaments into minies, like santa, elves or the reigndeer that you hang off the tree. 3. have you colored minies with permanent markers only?
This is a great piece of work. I'm really pleased with how you've managed to recycle bits of failed prints when building this - just goes to show that there's no such thing as junk :)
This is such a great challenge, I'm loving seeing all these challenges at the moment that just encourages us to get painting and crafting more. Great encouragement!
I love your vids. You’ve really helped me a lot as a novice painter. I’m excited to get to the point where I can try these techniques. Thank you for your content man!
okay seeing your backdrop makes me look forward to when i have an airbrush for doing backdrops for table top photos, thinking smoke and flames floating up outside the battle area to represent a larger fight or burning city
Lovely build. Really like your diorama and your painted miniature kicks ass as usual. I saw the other 2 builds but you totally kicked their asses with this 1!
I like that background you did. Aerograph are always giving that result for painting, something like it could be use for ilustrate some scifi ^^. really a good piece.
You made a good choice for your diorama it turned out awesome! I love it Squidmar! I haven't watched Real Terrain Hobbies video yet but so far yours is my favorite! Great job! You should airbrush backgrounds more often because it turned it fantastic!
That was great! Watching all that time challenges on YT it always felt like "c'mon, you're wasting quality to gain time! What for? It's a hobby - you should do it right, not fast. What is the point? If you like it why would you want to finish it fast instead of enjoying it for a long time?". But in your case the result is stunning - i would never believe, that this was planned for 24 h, and finished even sooner! I paint myself, but 2 hour session is all. And the result was never even close, even after 15 session for a single model. But i'll get there one day (wish me luck). Thanks for a video, it was a real pleasure. Cheers.
Everything was going great until you said I've never done this before and absolutely smashed it! Then it got EVEN better! Good stuff love it! You have motivated me to a background now :O
When you get hours in its a good idea to take a 15min not-nap. Set an alarm Lay down in the dark no music or stimulus, don't actively think about anything. You don't need to (but can) fall asleep. When you get back to it you will be able to fully focus and do a much better job than trying to push through the tiredness.

Your dio is beautiful! Legend!
Thx so much for a fun collab mate! Loved your video and build!
PS: Get a man who looks at you like Emil looks at that snack!

Still wrong though 😄
geronimo8159 I’m sure his Spanish pronunciations are still better than your Swedish though 🙃
The base, the background, and the mini are all soooo good!!! Amazing build buddy, I hope to see more of those backgrounds in the future! :-)
I hope to see more Brent Yeti
This was an EPIC challenge Emil. Any time you want to do this again give me a holler man.❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I had so much fun, yours was killer too😍
If I can be so bold. I would love to see (I challenge both of you!) a 40k "flying" diorama
So since this was a challenge will there be a Poll to see who won?

The freehand work on the backboard seriously set this work apart. Great job.
I'm loving the number of collaborations between all my favourite channels
I don’t think enough time is spent admiring Emil’s glorious tropical/Hawaiian t-shirts
probably from jack & jones, if you're looking to pick up some yourself :P my wardrobe is full of them ^^

I'm not going to argue, It was a legit surprise haha
Wowowow!! Miniature is perfect, diorama base is perfect and background it's just so perfect!
She is a gorgeous model and you an amazing painter. Congrats to the other 2 participants as well.
Holy smokes, man! That backdrop really sets this off, I'd never believe that was your first attempt. Just, wow!
That's awesome. I love all the detailed bits and that final resin cryo tank is really cool. Of course the painting is killer too.

Every bit of that piece turned out phenomenal!! Love that background painting especially 😎👍
Squidmar, thanks for making such great content. Your channel is one of the few that people can really learn from so thanks for that.

Fantastic piece of art Emil. Amazing and inspiring work. Hat goes off to you.

Like the desert theme and the background. Great work.
The backboard was a work of art by itself.
Love the freehand background. Nice work.
how nice to see something that I sculpted and in a nice diorama created by you :D
Love the background you painted. It kinda reminds me of the dust storms of Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. Great Job
That back drop is sick! Very Nice!

Badass work and great creativity on the diorama, you should've pinned the head to the torso , makes it more sturdy.
