The tip regarding Banshee placement clicked for me when I realized it's exactly the same as with Kapkan's traps! You want to put them opposite where the opponent is gonna look when entering any given space.
It depends on the door, but putting them next to doorways can be problematic, especially if they already know it's there. By the time you swing after hearing it go off, the attacker has already quick peeked the door, shot the banshee, and returned to cover. Some door placements are still very good, but I also like to put them deeper into rooms, so by the time the attacker triggers it, they're already committed to the room and have no cover to go to. The best placement is somewhere deeper in the room that ALSO requires them to turn 90+ degrees away from your angle to shoot it. Great tips though.
Melusi is good but what makes her a notch below S tier imho is her 1 speed. Also, her banshee just slows you down. It doesn’t prevent a plant or hurt attackers. I would actually pick Ela over her because at least with Ela’s Grzmot Mines the attacker(s) affected by it are severely hampered. I really think Ela is being slept on. I’m going to pick her on specific maps/sites in which Mute is weak at.
@@alyttleton My pleasure. You put a lot of work into your videos. Your humour is what makes you so watchable and likable. For the love of goodness, DO NOT change the way you go about talking in your videos. You have got 41K subs. That number will only grow so long as you continue the way you are. Trust me.
Chalet fireplace stairs B: put banshee on the inside of the wooden pillar next to the bomb (in garage). it will activate when entering B but attacker needs to turn 180 to shoot it.
Might be a faded take especially since I’m no where near champ skill. I don’t agree on the banshee for the prep door. I think without knowing where every other attacker is, swinging that far out if the banshee is on the left side of the prep door is too risky. On the right side, they’re still facing away from a defender’s angle and it’s safe enough for a defender to swing. Unless of course there’s feet holes on the prep wall, then you probably won’t even need to swing. One other thing if the prep wall is completely reinforced, an attacker could clear the banshee on the left side of the door and stay tucked, which then would give them an advantage. I might be wrong though and will have to give it a try.
Jumping out kept you from showing your setup in action, as you pointed out. Standard might work better for this type of content so it’s not guaranteed TDM. Reviewing previous gameplay you have stashed away could also be interesting.
It's a struggle between azami ban, fen ban ,kap ban ,kaid ban and now melusi ban lol but I've been banning her almost every game she's top tier fursure
IMHO her gadget is just too similar with proxalarm. And most of the times you can just ignore it and walk through. Though this is coming from a player who doesn't even play ranked, just calibrated to gold a couple of times out of curiosity

Let's keep these videos like this going, Alytt!
Will do! Thanks for watching
First things first. Great video mate. I'm definitely going to be playing Melusi more often than I do.
You should!
@@alyttleton yeah I'm definitely going to
Great video as usual. Going to start running her regularly tonight, been rotating my mains lately to become more flexible.
I chuckle every time i play her. 4 is a phenomenal number for her! Feels almost not fair 😂
Agreed 😅😅
Honestly Melusi needed these changes to compete with Fenrir on top of his nerfs, she's insane now
Agreed 💯
