If memory severs correctly he was locked up and made to believe he was dead! John was just a constellation prize! Marty only wanted John because she didn’t know the truth about her husband! If Marty knew/ever found out the truth about her husband she wouldn’t of cared about John. It’s like Natalie almost marrying Brody, Jessica told Natalie that the only reason why she was going to marry Brody is because he was a constellation prize! If John went to Natalie and said I forgive you Natalie for what you did sleeping with Brody, Natalie would have left Brody in heartbeat to be with and marry John McBain (Jessica is 💯 correct) Even Jessica knew Marty never wanted John or loved John, the way that Natalie does. Jessica knew that Natalie belongs with John and so does Marty! The only reason why Marty altered Natalie’s paternity test was not because she wanted John back, she snapped when Natalie put Cole in prison and she really became unbalanced when she found out that Natalie got pregnant with John’s child! Marty and Natalie have past history but it got worse when she had put Cole back in prison. Marty just wanted revenge, she had a vendetta against Natalie for putting Cole in jail and when she found out Natalie got pregnant with John’s child it just pushed her over the edge! How can Marty truly love John and screw with Natalies paternity test? To me that’s not love , that’s a personal vendetta between Marty and Natalie! How about Marty and Jessica. She claims to be Jessica’s best friend yet she screws with Natalies paternity test to make Brody the father instead of John. So not only is Marty trying to destroy Natalie and John’s marriage (to claim John yet again)but she also is screwing with Jessica and Brody marriage because she wanted to play God. She doesn’t care about Jessica they way she says she does because she told Natalie when she found out the truth about John being the father of her child that Natalie and Brody belong together not Jessica and Brody all so she can claim John for herself. Marty never truly loves John the way that Natalie loves John! Which I will never understand why the writers did what they did between Natalie, John , Jessica, Brody, and Marty! Everyone knows that Marty never loved anyone but her husband, Cole’s father, (who like I said thought was dead). Natalie and John was always meant for each other no matter how long it took them finally have the happy ending they both deserve together!!
