I have an update for you, the secondary is not in service anymore because the one company that needed freight service is going to move to a different location. So bummed that I couldn't film all the crossings in action down there.😔
I got the miramar local a few weeks ago just using those same tracks it always uses, but I really want to get it going down the other tracks now but it's so hard.
@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354: BNSF is switching the Miramar secondary’s trans-loading and Sherwin-Williams sidings now with GP60 183 and GP60M-3 119. Not sure if they plan to cross Miramar Road to service the two active sidings behind Rivulis near 7545 Carroll Road… But we can confirm that these two sidings are serviced once a week at a minimum.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 : Yes. The only big change occurred about four months ago when BNSF MoW staff red flagged any rail traffic beyond the Carroll Road grade crossing near the intersection with Kenamar Drive.
@@jamesreillytrains One thing I was confused about was they put the crossing signals on Kenamar Drive back in service, but why did they do that if that crossing can't be used anymore?
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 : That was done when Pacific Sun was using that track for railcar storage income (initially tank cars, but later also included privately owned U2 LRVs and the 40 foot boxcar used in movies with its fictitious National Railways livery. BNSF elected to place that track out of service again instead of leveraging it for rail-based storage income. The tank cars and U2s are long gone, and the motion picture boxcar near Ballast Point will require significant repairs to be relocated or will be scrapped in place. Time for sleep. Have a good night! 👍🏽👍🏽
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 : BNSF services the Miramar Secondary on average three times a week. The sidings on thidbsecondary northeast of Miramar Road are typically serviced twice a week. ruclips.net/video/HjCBJjNrrvM/видео.html This link has a recent video of BNSF picking up empties from these sidings at the 36 minute and 17 second mark.
Great footage!
JonRailVideos: Thank you! You have an awesome channel! 🙏🏽👍🏽

@@jamesreillytrains Have you seen any trains go on the industrial tracks recently?

Man wish I could of caught them but my working schedule takes a lot away
Do you have any videos of the trains using the crossing that goes across Miramar Road? That's what I really want to see.

@@jamesreillytrains Awesome thanks. Also do they always go that way everytime they are in Miramar?
