This is the only recipe that works for me. Thank you very much! After countless attempts, I have successfully made them! Except, I waited for my macarons to dry for 40 minutes because of the humidity in the area I live in. But they turned out great. So thanks! And a little advice for those who have trouble with the shell, it may take 30-50 minutes for the shell to form, depending on the humidity in your area. Thanks again!! :)
I just have to say thank you so much for this video. I have been trying for over a month...and I was already gonna give up. Your instructions are perfect and my macarons came out amazing!!! I made mine strawberry. By the way a little tip...since almond flour is so expensive...invest in a coffee bean grinder and use that to grind up the larger bits of almonds that dont sift through with the bean grinder...does a perfect job! Again thanks!!!
+Angela Gentry why, thanks you so much!!! If you create fun baking items Feel free to tag me #lovelyladycakes on Instagram or twitter:) Love to see what you make.
I made these and just finished filling them. Thank you for this wonderful recipe and video. I made them for the first time and they turned out perfectly!!! I don't have a French bakery nearby and now I can have them anytime I want. I made lots of almond flour that I put in the freezer.
TheHotPlate1 the cookie isn't usually flavored- it's the buttercream filling that flavors the cookie (but you can add food color to the cookie to match the flavor of the buttercream). You can also add jam as the filling
I have been making macarons for about a year now, and your not supposed to add actual fruit to the cookie because it could ruin the consistency of the batter, so it’s better to add fruit to the filling😊😊😊
+Danielle Clay Hello i am a food lover and just start making videos about how to cook in eassiest way . I just post my second video so check my channel to watch it and subscribe for more if you like it thnx ;)
best video ever. I love cooking and baking. I like how you said how much of each ingredient. some other youtube cooking shows don't say that. I give this a thumbs up!
I thought this video rocked! I honestly cannot wait to try it! I fell in love with Macaroons in France so I thought it would be appropriate to try it on my own. My favourite flavours ar : Coffee, Chocolate, Pistachio, and Earl Grey... I am going to have to try to make them all. Thank you for the inspiration!
omg! after several times of trial and error. i finally did it! thank u so much! i really enjoyed making them. like its the best thing in the world when i saw the foot or ridges are forming. thank u!^^
You are so funny!! And I love that you use simple tools and ingredients that anyone can use! I had to make my own almonds powder too thanks for the video
+NineSparklingStars Uhm? She sifted it properly and if she had over baked her macarons, they would've been golden-brown. However, her macarons are perfect. The macarons are NOT supposed to be crunchy but all she has to do is leave them in the refrigerator for 1 day and the filling will absorb to the macaron itself and become chewy :D
+NineSparklingStars If she didn't sift it properly, her macarons would've been lumpy and uneven... I'm not talking about macaroons...If you don't believe me, you can Google for over-baked macarons. Are you sure you are a macaron expert?
I had never eaten French macarons (let alone make them), but I tried this recipe yesterday and they turned out great! I also found that using a spoon instead of your hands makes sifting the almond flour easier.
Girl you are awesome... I had so many horrible results with my macarons that I even gave up for good... But this was so much fun to watch that it even made me wanna give another try to this french nightmare of mine...
Good tip thank you!! I am so happy they turned out great...would love to see more of your baking:) Please tag me in your pics so I can add your pics at the end of my videos in Cake talk..xoxo
This is a great video. I'm a fan of The Next Food Network show which began the 2013 season 2 weeks ago tonight. One of their challenges was to make macarons...which I've never made.....and most didn't pass the test. I'm glad I found you on RUclips...you make it looks really easy. By the way...I'm 70 so one never is too old to learn. lol I'll be making these little jewels soon. Thanks
+anna dan awesome, I try to use what I have in the kitchen:) why thank you so much, and for stopping by. You can follow me on snap chat and Instagram for more fun things I create:))
Thanks for posting this tutorial video, looks soooo easy! I looked all over youtube but every other video showed the ingredients in grams...who has time to look up what the equivalent of grams is???? Ain't nobody got time for that! I need to know the measurements in cups and teaspoons please! LOL....Thanks again and can't wait to create these! Easiest video ever!
It's cool that you can make them at home verses buying them at a bakery. You can make them any time you want, and there are so many flavors to them! But be careful because they can get soooo addicting!
OMG i was watching lots of videos on how to male french macarons and they were all so difficult but then i watched yours and i was so relieves cause i wanted to make some for mothers day and i was afraid that i couldnt make them because they were going to be too hard to make!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
I used her methods and it turns out well so here's what I did. I mix the egg white using my hand mixer #3. I firstly beat the eggs for 2 minutes, after 2 minutes I slowly add 4 tablespoon of sugar and beat it #4 for 4 minutes. So a total of 6 minutes. mix it continously don't stop :) Goodluck :)
If u have a Magic Bullet blender it comes with a grinding blade for coffee n spices and u can use that or try reg blender on the puree of liquefy setting !!!! The bullet does work !!!! Just a tip! Thanks for sharing your video n recipe ; )
So I tried to make these the other day and I didn't have a sifter so.. I just didn't sift it. But my batter (when I was folding it all together) was very thick... And I used the right measurements but it was very thick. Does not using a sifter contribute to my really thick batter? Also when I baked them for the time you said it looked VERY undercooked and I continued to cook it for another 10 mins but that's probably because it was thick. Lol! I failed XD
For anyone that has baked these French delicacies multiple times, have you noticed a difference if you bake them one at a time in the oven or is it fine to bake both of them at the same time? Thank You!
I want to try this but I am a little confused about the sugars, did you used only powder sugar? or did you use a different sugar for the eggs? thanks for posting!
I found another video on RUclips for this recipe, and the timing [to bake] in comparison to yours is completely different. Some came out with a cracked top and some came out alright. Definitely going to try your version, thank you for this x
Thank you for such a wonderful video!! I personally don't like to eat too sweet, do you think lowering the sugar amount will effect my chances of successfully making macaroons? Thanks!
Thanks so much for your recipe, I have to do this for my daughter's sweet sixteen! Wow! you are strong to carry that mix machine I have to ask for help to lift it up!
i love your videos, and i love macarons! thank you for the video im exited to try making my own macarons. and my favorite kind of macarons are salted caramel!!! yumm
Hi Lovelyladycakes, I just made my first batch of macarons using your recipe and they were a success. Thank you! However, they came out slightly brown and they were somewhat hollow. They had feets though! Any tips on hollow shells?
Looking forward to learning more on your video. Cant wait to try making the macrons you made it look very easy and fun to make....you dog is so cute super cute... What video camara are you using and what edithing program do you use....
I did this recipe when I was 14 back in 2012
9 years later FOOUNDDD ITTTTTT
I've tried many recipes for French macarons... And yours is the best! Thank you!
Her personality is the best! Subbed after 1 video!
This is the only recipe that works for me. Thank you very much! After countless attempts, I have successfully made them! +lovelyladycakes I love this video ☺☺☺☺

She has a cute personality, making it look easy!
Nikki Brandt yeaaa, thank so much for watching!! xoxo
I agree!
Oui oui I am so excited I found this video receipe
I made these and just finished filling them. Thank you for this wonderful recipe and video. I made them for the first time and they turned out perfectly!!! I don't have a French bakery nearby and now I can have them anytime I want. I made lots of almond flour that I put in the freezer.
What would you add to the cookie to make it fruit flavoured? extract or actual fruit peices?
i would just add the flavor with the filling, not the actual cookie. it might change the turnout when you bake them if you add it to the batter.
TheHotPlate1 the cookie isn't usually flavored- it's the buttercream filling that flavors the cookie (but you can add food color to the cookie to match the flavor of the buttercream). You can also add jam as the filling

MACARON ONE O my biggest pet peeve 🦄😂😂

+Danielle Clay Hello i am a food lover and just start making videos about how to cook in eassiest way . I just post my second video so check my channel to watch it and subscribe for more if you like it thnx ;)
SAME
I tried making these today - didn't turn out. I need a sifter..... Lol
I left my macarons out for like 50min, then baked them and they came out absolutely PERFECT!!!!!!! thx sooo much!
I love the way you present the macaron recipe. Your video is also fun to watch. It's not dull and boring like the other ones.
Those eggs are huge
I love how the macaroons look like lil hamburgers
Their MACARARONS not macaroons!! Macaroons aren't collored and they are more like coconut cakes!
relax killer
They're not macararons either... They're macarons.
mar garcia haha .. I agree XD
Wow great spelling
Nobody cares :)
Mine turned out wrinkled and flat:(
try not to over mix the batter! under mixing can cause it to crack! over mixing can cause them to be flat discs! hope this helps :)
thanks!
best video ever. I love cooking and baking. I like how you said how much of each ingredient. some other youtube cooking shows don't say that. I give this a thumbs up!

They're macaRONS not macaroons
Macaroons are like baked coconut cakes...
I hope you washed your hands when you were making the food because you were touching that dog
hahah, I did thank you:)
I got my almond flour at Sam's Club lol
omg! after several times of trial and error. i finally did it! thank u so much! i really enjoyed making them. like its the best thing in the world when i saw the foot or ridges are forming. thank u!^^
You are so funny!! And I love that you use simple tools and ingredients that anyone can use! I had to make my own almonds powder too thanks for the video
Hmm... They sounded too crunchy
Yeah I thought the same thing. I've never eaten a macaron that crunched that loudly. That sounded like a chip.
+NineSparklingStars But all the dry ingredients went through the sift. Have you ever made macarons before? Hi
+NineSparklingStars and she did not over bake them because it's not golden brown!!! Google "over baked macarons" you can see the difference!!!
+NineSparklingStars If she didn't sift it properly, her macarons would've been lumpy and uneven... I'm not talking about macaroons...If you don't believe me, you can Google for over-baked macarons. Are you sure you are a macaron expert?
MACARONS ARE NOTHING LIKE MACAROONS THEY ARE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FOOD AND YOU DONT PRONOUNCE IT MACAROON YOU PRONOUNCE IT MACARON
PREACH IT BROTHER/SISTER!
UpbeatMelody she is just a person and we people get wrong !!!! thank tou for that pronunciation you solve my problem!! 💖💖

I had never eaten French macarons (let alone make them), but I tried this recipe yesterday and they turned out great! I also found that using a spoon instead of your hands makes sifting the almond flour easier.
