- Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Next day after foxes I went to pier to get to cats island. On the way I decided to film streets of Ishinomaki city to Manga museum. The road going to Manga museum has some statues from some manga ( sorry, don't know what manga).
Part of road after museum looks deserted, that's because of tsunami flooding in 2011. You can see the difference in Google Street View.
As you already may know it was too windy for ferry and I got to cats island only next day.
Map www.google.com...
Time 10/07 9:00am
Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.
Japan is such a far cry from where I live, everything over there is super tidy and clean.
This is one of the areas severely damaged by the 2011 tsunami. You see vacant lands everywhere. Those are the lands where houses and shops used to stand. Thank you for uploading this video.
I am about one third way into this one and already I can see that it is going to be a classic. Again, I have to say, these videos are so important; they document how an entire nation goes from one day to the next in an urban environment in the twenty-first century. Japan is so clean and tidy, this nation acts as a template to which other nations should aspire. Excellent work.
edit: I can see this walk was an exhausting experience. Full marks for carrying on to its end. I loved it.
Thank you so much for making these films; Seriously they are great help for interesting places to visit when I go to Japan. It's like getting familiar with places before getting there!!!
Great video as always Rambalac, thanks for all your hard work!
man I love your walk videos so much. I wish somehow someday you'll do a live stream and we get to vote/suggest what you should do and where turn just like a live SIM RPG but live action lol
I did that multiple times in walking live stream.
That's not so easy to do due to the inevitable network lag, but yeah, that happens sometimes.
What a lovely walk you took us on, thanks Rambalac! Windy days add a feeling of restless energy and movement. Sorry it was too windy that day for the ferry but safety first and you got there in the end.
00:00 石巻駅(JR Ishinomaki Station)
01:15 いしのまきマンガロード ( Ishinomaki Manga Road ).
19:30 石巻漫画館 ( Ishinomaki Mangattan Museum).
48:30 網地島ライン( Ajishima Line, Ferry Terminal [ to Cat Island ])......canceled in!
The statues and chars on the lamppost flags are from "Cyborg 009" manga from 1960s. There probably was some anniversary event.
Thanks to your video, i am confident to go there this coming November! 👊🏻👊🏻👍🏻
I always get excited when I see you upload a new video!
In my opinion Japan is a like a phoenix, It`ll rise after whatever horrible thing happened to it...I remember this city from the Tsunami year 2011, two of my friends are living in Japan and I remember how scared we were and how much we cried over it...one of them was a member of a group which they helped cleaning the cities, I remember when she sent lots of horrible photos from the museum and I was like, will it rise again?
I`m so glad things are getting back to normal, so sorry for all those poor souls died in 2011...I`m a Geologist, I know how horrible a Tsunami is and I respect all those brave people in the city, rising and living even after that horrible Tsunami!
This is my first time to see this part of Japan, thank you for uplaoding as always!
I love how some of the roads and sidewalks are made of paving stones. 3 times stronger than concrete and easy to replace if some crack.
I love the manga statues . Great work as always, Rambalac. I look forward to the next one.
Thanks for the upload, love these walks! :D
Another amazing video, great work, sadly though i don't recognise any of the manga statues. Your channel also has inspired me to start making videos like these myself (only UK based rather than Japan), i don't yet have a stabilizer sadly, but i'm hopeful that i've been able to keep the camera as still as possible, haven't uploaded any yet but i hope to get at least one up and running within the next week. (^_^)
It is always surprising to see how carefully the streets and statues are kept clean, in my country it would be unthinkable and for sure the statues would be disfigured and / or stolen. Another demonstration of civility by japan people, cheers man and thanks for this new walk!
That's because there's cameras everywhere watching every single area.
@@leakesonasucs nah, its because japanese people know how to live in their country. I've been there and i know what im saying
As always, I love getting to know each city you visit. I loved the opportunity to walk the streets of Ishinomaki. Are those statues of anime characters permanent? It is incredible to walk in a city full of these statues. Did you visit this city on a Sunday? The streets were calm and empty. I really love every video of you that I watch. I found a cat well hidden in this moment 44:40
Thank you, your videos helps me relax.
Nice videos, thanks...the statues are from Cyborg009 is an old anime from the 60's
I love your style of "travel vlog". I wish more would do the same in different countries.
I'm a huge Osamu Tezuka fan. I've always wanted to go to the manga museum. Thank-you for making the trip for me!
Uncle Ram with another fine video ^^ Thanks!
I always enjoy it when you reveal the camera. Also, why are the streets empty; there are few cars and even fewer people? Is that, too, because of the 2011 tsunami?
No, it's just Sunday morning.
good to see you venture to the remote parts of Japan
Reminds me of the devastation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast after hurricane Katrina. Great walk.. thanks.
I got to visit Tashirojima 2 years ago, but we only passed through Ishinomaki, so it was nice to see what we missed. Thanks.
So clean ... wonderful video once again.. ❤️
I love how Japanese cities are functional but cozy at the same time.
Always enjoy your walkabouts Rambalac.Nice to see paths and walkways without the polka dot chewing gum pattern.
Довелось побывать тут еще задолго до цунами. Чудесный городишко!
Very nice place. Clean & beautiful view 👍🏻
Hahah 0:10 that's so cool. I love the Cyborg 009 theme.
This video just randomly showed up on my recommended home feed instead of my sub feed. Good job youtube.
But hey, at least a cat got some screen time.
I take it the 'ufo' looking structure across the river/inlet was the museum, and that funky car? What manga was being represented throughout the filming. Some of the statues looked super cool.
Love your videos mate!
So quiet, hardly any people and so wonderfully clean and tidy.
Hi Rambalac! Mariju here and i see a super cute kawaii store whit nekos paintings! Yuri Miyamoto i found her in Internet! :D Now i 'm happy, yes! The museum is cool and the statues too! I read manga :P
Aaaaah, and the streets so calm and relaxing. :3 Watching and drink beer! Kampai! :9 Burp! :V
The cat mural by Yuri Miyamoto is adorable.
Almost no people. The area reminds me of the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. Always a good walk if you can find at least one cat. Thanks.
At least you got to see one cat... 😺
Thanks for the video!
A leisure walk of great performance.Fantastic place of comic world.🦸♂️🦸♀️🦹♂️🦹♀️😻🤓😈🤡A pier of magnificence!!!😍
Everytime I see a security mirror I ask, will he do it? And usually you do. :) Great walk and a beautiful day. Thanks for sharing Ram.
哇 !!!........视频 9:10 位置 看见反光镜子里面,你的摄影机器非常的好。...........Tokyo Japan
Cool vehicle at 6:45; "Don't shift the tune" is for a radio station, I'm guessing? Had to do a little reasearch, and I'm surprised that the museum was built in 2001, as it looks like something from the 70s. I suppose that's only fitting, as most of Ishinomori's work was from the 60s and 70s.
The City is full with the works of Shotaro Ishinomori! 😱
So amazing the City! 😄
Thank you Shotaro Ishinomori for…
Cyborg 009 (1964)
Kamen Rider (1971)
Himitsu Sentai GoRanger (1975)
JAKQ DENGEKITAI (1977)
Voicelugger (1999)
Wow, thumbnail is Hoshi no Ko Chobin! I had no idea that was a big show even in Japan where it was aired!
20:20 the Ishinomori Manga Museum is my Favorit Museum! 😄
My Favorit three Cities in Japan and the world: ❤️🇯🇵
1. Kyoto 🏮
2. Tokio 😄
3. Ishinomaki
It looks like there are still many people living in the container houses. I like these houses because you can easily move with them. :D I would like to see more newly built places, that's impressive
Because builders live there
Thank you.
Ishinomaki town's riverside area has been destroyed by the tsunami of the 2011 East Japan great earthquake disaster.
22:50 The restoration of the building is in condition to advance little by little now.
hey, great video. I would like to suggest you use a binaural audio mic this will significantly enhance the immersion of the viewer. also for the camera you could switch for a sony a7sII that thing has some great videoin low light and is not far off a panasonic gh-5 in terms of the price.
It’s extraordinary ishinomaki rebulid again after the tsunami disaster 9 years ago
🇯🇵 thanks ram🐏
Mr Rambalac it's good to show people that it will not kill them to respect red lights and green lights
I understand that there is also an audio signal that goes off when the light turns green ... or am I wrong?
Here we usually say when we see a clean street
we could almost eat on it
here and well before manga it was Godzilla who reminded us of Japan at the movies
BTW here ... it's an old city in north Africa
Again thank You very much for your initiative !
Signal is for blind people.
@@Rambalac that is what i thought ... thanks!
Should do more food tours :)
Not much to see there but wide open spaces? I thought my town was small but that is a very quiet place.
Well, looks like that museum and cats island ferry are the only POIs there
The anime is Cyborg 009!
31:23 a nice drink sound !
cyborg 009 !!! 4:57
The video is beautiful, but it hurts me to see and know how it looked in 2011... :(
thanks again youtuber. ^^
tava cancelado aí no final é?
Haiiiuu long time to am back ✌
Is this the cat island?
Anime statues I like that
Can you please tell the date and time of each video?
I did
😊Olá @Rambalac, tudo bem? 😍Lindo passeio, agradeço as belas imagens, 🌹abraço.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@Rambalac
返信ありがとうございます。”大変”とは単に距離と時間のことです。石巻に行くのは時間がかかるし、「石ノ森萬画館」は駅から離れているので"お疲れだったでしょう"ということです。😅
36:27 SPIDER!
Its hard to tell this place got wrecked by the tsunami.
🌺🌺🌺
Venerable Caminante,
Cómo es que algunos videos tienen la descripción en inglés y otros en español???
Este pobre necromante se siente confundido, de que impía tierra sois originario???
Os saludo desde mi oscura Torre ciclopia.
🦇 💀 ☠️ 💀 🦇
Some people translated descriptions into Spanish and as it did not look like Google translate I accepted them. But only for few videos, other are still English, Russian and Japanese only.
Please, spider noooooo!!!
Kamen Rider! 10:35 😱
Manga is comic characters like animate animations I hope that was some help
Ahhhh there is an arm at 9.15
Sensei, next time go to beach and write members name on it
kamen rider drive
nem kell bújkálnod,én már láttalak és hallottalak is ..
Under the radioactive zone
hm, just noticed japanese REALLY like white cars, what's up with that?
Probably other color is more expensive or not easily available.
Time and money did not allow me to watch the who film. Shorter bite sized clips could help in the long term.
This is not a TV
@@Rambalac nope, its me dealing with an MOT Failure. 1st day of Welding done.
Sorry these aren't personally catered to you... 🙄
Merci vous êtes un professeur de rêves ...
So I am randomly looking at vids as I am doing research and the first thing I notice is how many buses there are here yet hardly any people. I find that so odd. Also, those statues surprised me and seem tacky + ugly. Maybe it's just me but I dont like them. Of the most interesting to me was the one just after the 7:00 mark at 77 Bank with its hand rubbing its face. Reminds me of 777=Order Out of Chaos, Freemason motto.😳
