Thank you for taking the time to make this very clear video on how to do this properly. It is appreciated.
You are welcome!
I just recieved my 221 featherweight. It is a 1936 made in the USA. The motor is a cat cak 9-8 volts 110-120, amp 0-58 cyc 50/60 made in Great Britain. I don't see any lubrication holes.
it sounds like you have a replacement motor. The later ones from Great Britain were sealed and did not have lubrication ports.
Makes sense
Do you have a video on tensions
+Judith Golba You will find a vast amount of information on my website under the Tip of the Month. Www.novamontgomery.com
+Nova Montgomery including tension
Is this motor lubricant good for other vintage singer machines as well?
+Shayna Watson Yes! Just make certain that you only use it on metal gears (never nylon or plastic).
