- In 2017 Harvest House Church partnered with Evergreen Missions and Red Yeti Audio to produce a music album in honor of an indigenous Philippine tribe. In 2018 the tribe invited a group from these ministries to the Indigenous People's Day in the Philippines.
This story started with a vision but quickly led to a once lost instrument and tribe being rediscovered. Now the Salimbaa is restored and the Tinananon people are being lifted up and honored as the Philippine government recognizes them as an official indigenous people group.

Wow..I was fascinated with this instrument aside from other indigenous instrument from the Philippines, the Salimba has it all, the dynamic of its sound is so diverse, Its like all the tribal notes and sound are pack on this odd but magnificent instrument, Luzon,Visayas and Mindanao in one.. I wish I could have the chance to play or even get a hold of it.. To the build it, much love and God bless...

Hello. Caleb's story is very interesting to me. Indeed Yahua gave him the dream. And at the same time made me curious where are the Tinananon folks are. What region in the Philippines and in what province. I'm Filipino but never heard of Tinananon Tribe. I'm guessing this tribe can be foubd in Mindanao? But where in Mindanao? Could someone tell me where is this place where Caleb met with the indigenous people and their chieftain?

What is really the mystery of the Philippines and it’s people? I was awe by lots of information and uniqueness of the Philippines and it’s people. What are they? Who are they? And why? I was stunned and wonder. What is the role of the Philippines and Filipino in the world and to our God? Are they special? The chosen race? What are their parts and roles in God’s time? These are the questions that comes out in my mind every time I watch and hear about them. I don’t know why?

If you ask a filipino right now if they knew the history prior to spaniards, we could hardly say it because it wasnt taught in school. And then found out abt our own alphabet- Baybayin...imagine all the countries in asia have their own language and writing system(japan, chinese,korea,vietnam, thailand..etc....but the Phils - none..So if we have our own alphabet where are the scripts? ..obviously none because they were all burned. I found this video by "accident" a few weeks ago. I was searching for hammered dulcimer music and stubbled upon this video. It has absolutely blessed me! I have told the story to my children and a friend. I rewatched the video today to see if I had some of the details correct. In my retelling of it, I somehow had that the symballa of old had been burned. Did I dream that?

Is this really an indigenous instrument? I can't seem to find any info on it. Seems like someone just made it up one day.
Salimbaa is ONLY a product of CALEB'S IMAGINATION and used it to prosyletize the indigenous tribe into his religion. Caleb clearly violated the Indigenous People's Rights. He should never be allowed to interact with any indigenous group. He's delusional and a master con and many believed him.
