I've been enjoying Dragonite content and started playing with it again this season. Used to play DD and outrage but extreme speed is helping me to catch those Inteleon and other squishies who run fast.
Outrage dragonite can solo any opposing pokemon 1v1 until you get kited by literally any mage out there.
Cris has officially became an extreme speed enjoyer. This is a sad day for us ddance fans :(

May I suggest replacing scarf with razor claw, the attack speed isn’t actually that amazing compared to the damage you can pump up by just spamming moves and basic attacks, which still happens a lot, and the slow down you do is really effective at stopping people from running away
Also after the buff, drain crown is surprisingly effective to replace focus band, for more constant survivability, and even more basic attack damage/razor claw damage
you HAVE to run scarf on espeed,otherwise your basic attack speed is so low,razor claw is only kinda good on dragon dance outrage. Also you don't get the "slows" razor claw has because dragonite is considered as a ranged pokemon,you need to be a melee pokemon to get the slows.Not having rapid fire scarf on espeed dragonite is kinda grief specially running razor claw for it is even more grief
also for drain crown,please don't run it on anything. It still sucks ass only a 3% lifesteal increase,still not enough to make it worth using the healing is so little AND IT DOESN'T HEAL YOU IF YOU ARE HITTING A POKEMON WITH SHIELDS please timi buff drain crown and fix it
@@gamerracoon3075 I was running crown on espeed outrage before the buff sometimes anyway, its not a terrible item, the buff just makes it competitive on auto attack all rounders like dragonite and azumaril
(Though that bug is definitely very annoying if it is true)
Edit: Also thanks for info about razor claw, tested and you definitely seem to be right, I will be using scarf from now on instead lol
Yeah, comfey without exp share is trolling, but any other supporter is fine. Eldegoss' auto attack deals a decent damage with muscle scarf and slows opponents, and the other supporters can stand on their own (except moonlight clefable imo) so it's fine if they don't use exp share. But for comfey, exp share is a must no matter what moveset u pick
Moonlight clef could go double specs and buddy or specs buddy and Amp
i understand soloq has everyone in a carry mentality, but in general telling people that most supporters don’t need xp share is not healthy for the soloq environment. phil youmuus (tank from team YT) sums it up pretty well: “your job as a supp/def is to play for your damages. if you are strong but your damages are weak, what’s the point?” but i get it, it’s hard to support damages who are hitting 30k-40k damage max
Yeah, Dragonite is actually now 50% overall win rate. This meant that its actually used and its already good strength before proves it even now. I still couldn't believe that Outrage which used to be a meme a year ago now makes Dragonite a near unkillable monster.
Was Outrage really that bad? Idk since I started playing since July

@@UltimateRaven strange since the first time I used/saw Dragonite I immediately thought that Outrage was the best move for him, Hyper beam didn't feel like incredible especially without ddance

4:11 - This is why I like having Buddy Barrier on Dragonite. I guess I have developed a habit of pressing the unite move as a panic button, but for Dragonite, using it in mid-battle isn't that great _unless_ I have Buddy Barrier. I go both Focus Band + Buddy Barrier. I feel that Outrage Dragonite wouldn't survive well otherwise. It's already a great brawler/one-on-one. The problem is always to avoid being deleted in a team fight.

Thank you so much for this video, Cris. Before today, I could only go diagonally in the opposite direction of my opponent with Extreme Speed. Now I can keep moving forward, just like you.

Extreme speed is good, but I still like dragon dance outrage better tbh, sometimes when I feel silly I use with scarf, scope lens, razor claw and crit emblems, I die pretty fast without a support but so too do they.
I actually use the same build but instead of focus band I use drain crown rapid and weakness
Please don't use drain crown, its healing is way too small to be worth it over other items
I'm reluctant to go center with Extreme Speed Dragonite, since it's just not that great at ganking, unless:
1. That lane was already winning so all you needed was to dive in and fight, or;
2. The enemies decided to push your goal.

I mean considering the current meta mimikyu is the best arounder out there ,I don't want you to use it tho it's completely busted

Theoretically, some of the highest DPS in the game is razor leaf decidueye and outrage dragonite (excluding now blaziken, mewtwo, and zacian).
Decidueye won’t ever do amazing, just because razor leaf requires you to be too close for how squishy decidueye is, especially now that mimikyu exists.
Dragonite actually has the opposite problem. As tank/supporter buster, he’s amazing, as once a defender gets in range, he essentially wins. But with the current mage/inteleon meta, he gets kited so easily it’s a joke.

This is why I've been telling everyone to run curse items in ranked. I played against your dragonite, and it got stuffed. I see it all the time in ranked. My entire team gets styled on because they don't have a curse item. I show up (regardless of level) and all of a sudden, my team knows how to get KO's. Run curse items or get styled on. It's that simple.
Somehow Dragonite is one of the only few Pokémon that can stand up fighting with Full Lifesteal azumarill build in 1v1

I tried to play with Dragonite last night and it was very frustrating. My team just keep running around in every direction but refused to gave up, while the team adverasary fought togheter I was left alone to do everything. We lost of course... To be honest I feel like below average players have more fun with this game than the ones who understand that you have to run and do the objectives

Espeed never works for me. Its odd how you get so much success. With ddance i can better chase opponents and better choose to run down who i want. Plus the cooldown in battle is shorter.
