Today, Armin van Buuren started sharing a very personal documentary about the early days of his musical career. The six-episode story takes viewers on a ride through the mind of the five-time #1 DJ in the world himself as he gives a unique insight into his life as an artist, from his days as a curious toddler to the struggles and insecurities he faced as an emerging artist. In the end, it all culminates in the ‘The Best Of Armin Only’ show at the Johan Cruijf ArenA in Amsterdam on May 12 and 13, his biggest show to date.
Closing things off, Episode 6 of ‘Mr. Perfect’ revolves around the finals preparations for The ‘Best Of Armin Only’, coursing through the final rehearsals at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. Armin himself visits the venue for ‘The Best Of Armin Only’ - The Johan Cruijff ArenA - for the first time, and is shocked at the size of it.

I remember one night back in ... 2003? Maybe 02? I was dancing in the crowd at the Roxy night club in New York City. I had a conversation with a nice fellow in the crowd, just dancing, like me and everyone else. After about an hour he taps me on the shoulder and says "You have to excuse me, I have to go to the DJ booth, my set is about to begin." It was Armin Van Buuren, had no idea who he was. Very humble. Went in the booth with him, spoke for about 5 - 10 more minutes, he gifted me "Out There" by Robert Nickson on white label. I still have that record :)

But I don't let that that feeling , of me also becoming like armin overwhelm me because you see the time was different, he was the one who started TRANCE and basically he and other legendary djs are pioneers of electronic music therefore I just embraced it and stop that's over there.... myself was not included anywhere ..

This whole series was like getting contact with an old friend that I haven't seen in years. I've been just in one of his shows but I've followed his career since more than 15 years. I grew up listening to him and the soundtrack of a lot of epic moments in my life was his music. Please make more of this Armin. Love from Spain.

Man I loved this documentary. I'm 49 and I'm just starting LOL :-D. Look at the Rolling Stones: these guys were on stage in their seventies. You're too old when you literally drop off the stage man! Keep rocking, Armin! What you did for the trance scene, no one did. We're afraid that if ever you quit, the show is over! And that can't happen.

I remember the first time I saw Armin van Buuren live was at Neversea 2018, he was amazing, I began filming set after set, 25 videos all full of Armin van Buuren magic and then..my phone went out of battery, then my external battery went out energy, my memory card was full and the Sun began to rise but Armin van Buuren kept on mixing until 07:00 AM in the morning, my legs were tired but Armin van Buuren was full of energy. At the end of that day, I remained with 25 magical videos which I rewatch over and over again. Armin van Buuren is the God of Electronic Music and he is born on 25 December which means something. Thank you Armin van Buuren and may we see your magic at Neversea 2020! :)

Inspirational episodes, a true legend in the trance scene. Was hoping to see more of the show and was glad to find the full event is actually also on RUclips. The intro sounded like it was going to be amazing in the episode and it's even more so seeing it happen at the event.
