Actually there is no specific timing...the holy spirit will guide u.In my own experience,i was always praying one hour,untill the holy spirit troubled me to increase to 2hours,then from 3hours to 4hours and then 6hours...the Holy spirit should be the one to call u... U might not hear a voice,it can come like burden,signs here and there. This is where consecration will start to come in...God starts cleaning u up for his use. Believe me this is where words of your mouth starts having power...You will get to a point God will tell u to sart minding how u speak. Lastly,it depends...but its a long journey of purification and empowerment...God will test ur heart
