    Boyle looked like a man who saw the weather forecast and decided I'm getting a red inker here!

    Timed cricket, good format though having the match totally abandoned is ridiculous. They could make it so a minimum of w0 or 25 overs has to played.

    Great catch low down from Joe! It helps that he isn't much taller than the grass to be fair 😂

    Just about to say, I don’t think Joe chose to bat first when Connor’s bowling, unless Connor is bowling to Joe walker. 😂

    Excellent camera work as usual, very good bowling and fielding but good old Englands weather stopped an impressive victory, onwards and upwards

    For some and no reason I don’t think Joe chose to bat first

    Thanks for braving the weather to bring us the usual brilliant content. At least you got some cricket in. Most didn't. More like football weather there as cricket. This weekend will be better

    Have never understood timed cricket. Have pretty much lived my life through this short of UK summer weather though ;-).

    Pity the weather was like that. Was looking forward to potentially seeing Conor back in the runs.

    Timed cricket is a complete farce - teams as good as these, shouldn’t be getting bowled out in 41 overs for example - so all it does is give them a big advantage… or just leads to a bore draw the other end. Fingers crossed they get rid of the format. Still a good watch as always 👍

      How does it actually work? Like why dont they both have the same amount of overs?

    • @MatthewHarris-ej3pz
      @MatthewHarris-ej3pz 9 дней назад

      @@salmonboi3739 basically the to teams get 100 over if team a the team batting first bat for 52 overs team b who are chasing have 48 overs to get the runs however if they fail to chase the runs but dont get bowled out its a draw. then some leagues play winning/ losing draws if the team chasing looked likely to get the score. it takes longer and it also means there are no free hits.

      @@salmonboi3739 in other formats they would have the exact same number of overs - but i guess this format is sort of like a mini test match. From my watching experience- it rarely improves the spectacle however.
