Do you like this kind of backing track format ? Not exactly as the original one, just the chord progression to practice improvisation in a more neutral way... Tell me what you think please ! Hervé (Guitare Continuum)
Your video is exactly what I was looking for! Background: My teacher explained me that I may use the notes from E and F# additionally to the Pentatonic in my first solo practices, but I can use those notes only when the accords are actually played. So this video helps me a lot as I see the accords highlighted when they are played. Thank you very much and Danke schön! :)
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad it helped in your practice ! Yes, this chord progression is very nice, but kind of "tricky" regarding of the harmonic analysis. Indeed, to emphasis the "E" and "F#", it's a good idea to play the chord tones, in addition to the bluesy /pentatonic scale. It will definitively give you more melodic options in your soloing. Happy playing !
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair Warm smell of colitas rising up through the air Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night There she stood in the doorway, I heard the mission bell And I was thinkin' to myself, "This could be heaven or this could be hell" Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say "Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (such a lovely place) Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the Hotel California Any time of year (any time of year) You can find it here" Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes-Benz, uh She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys that she calls friends How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat Some dance to remember, some dance to forget So I called up the Captain, "Please bring me my wine" He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969" And still, those voices are calling from far away Wake you up in the middle of the night just to hear them say "Welcome to the Hotel California Such a lovely place (such a lovely place) Such a lovely face They're livin' it up at the Hotel California What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise) Bring your alibis" Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink champagne on ice And she said, "We are all just prisoners here of our own device" And in the master's chambers, they gathered for the feast They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast Last thing I remember, I was running for the door I had to find the passage back to the place I was before "Relax, " said the night man, "We are programmed to receive You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"

@@sunilrautela1873 Thank you !!
This is fantastic to practice! Thanks a lot for sharing it.
The comfortably numb last solo fits strangely well over this song
Both are in b minor so yeah.
Thanks, now I can play my favorite solo
I love how the bass sounds
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway, I heard the mission bell
And I was thinkin' to myself, "This could be heaven or this could be hell"
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say
"Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (any time of year)
You can find it here"
Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes-Benz, uh
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget
So I called up the Captain, "Please bring me my wine"
He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since 1969"
And still, those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night just to hear them say
"Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
They're livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis"
Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink champagne on ice
And she said, "We are all just prisoners here of our own device"
And in the master's chambers, they gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives, but they just can't kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man, "We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"
Thank you so much my dude

OK very nice do you have any enstromintal songs like that with chords... thank you.
Hi !Thanks for your comment. Not yet actually, but any suggestions are welcome, let me know in comments !
Best regards.
the bass line needs to be more punchy and less legato.
It's fine, but needs the chorus sections.
Thanks for your comment ! I initially made this backing track to practice the chord progression for the final solo, which is only this one.
Me gustaría tu autorización para usar tu pista, para el solo de Hotel California y subirlo a mis redes sociales
