Fast-moving cat 3 is basically a typical afternoon summer storm for Florida. You won’t see anywhere near Helene damage because it won’t linger enough to cause major flooding. And most recent Florida homes are built to withstand Cat 3 winds without issue.
A 3 is still devastating. For reference Katrina was a 3. But, I feel you and I'm also grateful it didn't hit at a 5. That would be absolutely catastrophic

I camped in a hammock through a cat 2 hurricane with winds of 108 mph. It was in 2016 in Brookings, Oregon. The storm lasted for six days. The first night was the worst, it was raining sideways. Amazingly, I slept quite well, the sound of the storm was quite soothing to me.
So lately a lot of stations have their volume set too low. When the next video plays it's 10x louder and blasts the speakers. Let's get some standardized volumes please.
