Toen ik als jongetje in de jaren 80tig naar Veronica's Countdown met Adam Curie keek, was dit nummer de achtergrondmuziek bij de presentie van dit programma, bewaar hier mooie herinneringen aan, kortom het toen een mooie tijd.

Was toch ook de tune van de top veerrrrrrtig op radio Veronica. Radio is helaas ook niet meer wat het was, wat een drukte om niks ( internetradio daar gelaten)
Ja dit was altijd de achtergrond tune die ze draaide bij de hitlijst. Heel lang heb ik niet geweten wat het was, maar ik vond het altijd een vette funk tune. Eindelijk kwam ik er een paar jaar geleden achter hoe de band en het nummer heten. Super!
Wordt nu ook als achtergrond tune gebruikt bij de top4000 op radio10! Toevallig vandaag ook nog gehoord in de lijst op nr 2786!

So annoyed at the time that this album did not top the first ranks in pop chart. Why at least a starlette success!
It's a pity there generally aren't any groove/jazzy bands around anymore. At least in the early 90s there were the likes of Jamiroquai, Young Disciples, Soul 2 Soul, Galliano, D-Influence etc (all UK so I don't know what that says)...current acts flying the flag include Tuxedo, MNDSGN, Onra, Jungle, Chromeo, and Daft Punk (who aren't strictly a groove band and Random Access Memories has been out a few years now).
I'm sure I have more on my playlists but in 2019 it's a struggle to find anything that isn't "aiming shots at your head" and "whippin up coke in the kitchen".😖
