    My anxiety 😅 this is what happens every time I get back to my village.. people are surrounding me and asking me how I'm and how's my mother haha.. I know they are caring but I'm all sweaty and want to run away haha ..
    I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed staying in a village.
    Btw villages differ from different regions here. You'll be mesmerized by how different it is

    Bangladesh has almost 90000 villages so definitely you will get different charm in different places in bd.
    Bd villages are really things which are worth taking experience there.

    Such a trip down memory lane. I am a city man. But I used to visit the village in Tangail district where my Mother's entire family came from. It was just like the one in this video. And those visits were simply divine. I had the same experiences you did. The city man was accorded the same hospitality and the interaction between the people were exactly the same as in this video. Sadly, but out of necessity, nearly everyone in that village is now a city dweller, some of whom have also emigrated. Those days will never come back. But it's nice to see that there are still villages in Bangladesh that are thriving (albeit with electricty, mobile phones, internet, computers, satellite TV and better houses in general).

      That must have been a nostalgic experience for you.. I remembered yesterday I have one more video from that village to edit where they take me to their farm land to get some veg and then we go back and cook.. I will put it together in a few weeks time so you can see some more.. you can imagine the food was divine.. so fresh

      Thank you!! I do like to get myself out there a bit.. as for food.. it’s building slowly.. I was sick in Uzbekistan and pakistan.. going up fairy meadows in pakistan on a small bony pony after having diahhorea that very morning was a definite risk .. but I seem to be getting stronger.. I also check the food out before I eat it (freshness of meat etc).. always careful with water.. some things you know will be ok though like vegetarian, cooked in deep oil etc.. slow wins the race I say 😁

    I am from Bangladesh living in USA. Although I was born and raised in Dhaka I used to go to village to meet my grandparents in my childhood. The warm welcome, the love I had and also this vapapitja, Chiron pitta, shemai pitha they used to cook. Now in my mid 30’s, when I am sometimes alone in busy life, these memories bring tears in my eyes. The hospitality you are getting from these rural people is the true Bangladesh.

    Those people were so happy to get YOU there & you looked so amazing too with them ever.Although there was no one to understand your talking however There was a heart-understanding with each other!     This Video took me travel through time. like 15-20 years ago our village houses were kinda like these. now they are all rebuilt to multiplex buildings. I don't feel like in village there anymore so I've stopped visiting there. I miss these simple living.
    Back in that time, We also used to get greeted like you just got. some will tell you that they are doing it coz They haven't seen white people before. Trust me they are dead wrong. This is this country's way of greeting any guests.

      I leave near London DLR ,I travel almost everyday DLR ,I think it’s like London DLR but Bangladesh Metro is Japan made so something definitely different ,I am proud Bangladeshi ,I will definitely visit Bangladesh soon.thank you for representing Bangladesh so nice way,I miss Dhaka much so watching all your videos.
