Riding the Disney buses at night these days is SO different now that the kids are grown. When the kids were small we usually stayed at the All-Stars resorts. For the uninitiated, the All-Stars resorts are farthest from the Magic Kingdom and are the cheapest, hence more populous, resorts. That meant the buses were always packed at night and its about 15 to 20 minutes to the resort from the park. I always worried we might collapse on the bus. You're bone-tired, and often standing, trying to hold on to sleepy children. It was torture sometimes. The times you were lucky enough to get seats, you fall asleep on the bus. Nothing was more amusing than when we finally get to the resort and the lights go on. There was always a collective groan...😄😄😄

Reminds me of the 2007-2008 Gilligs we used to have back at Central Washington's Link Transit.

Some fun facts are that Disney has around 500 buses in their fleet. All of them are owned by Disney. The oldest bus is a 2002 and has over 1,000,000 miles on it and is still being used today. They keep them usually keep them about 700,00-800,000 miles. They also now run all of their buses on Biodiesel which is made with about 50% food waste. Their do order new buses each year. Their newest buses are 2016's and they put most of their new buses into their fleet 12/2015.
