When finishing university and having my degree in my hand, I am going to thank Eminem. He's not only taught me real English, or how to rhyme, but songs like "Lose yourself" or "Till I collapse" and this one literally kicked me up from the floor whenever I was drowning in the awful workload and studying problems and gave me inspiration. Songs like "Space bound" and "Not afaraid" helped me get over relationships thus ended in tears. And this song is a little bit of all of these, probably one of Slim's best masterpieces of all time. As someone who is currently going through an abusive situation and is fighting to get out it, this song is absolutely perfect for symbolizing what I am going through. I love how its about succeeding, but it doesn't possess toxic positivity. Instead its very gritty, and talks about the bloody struggle that it takes to become phenomenal......even touching up on the fact that you do not come out unscathed when you become successful, but at the same time is self-empowering in a way where yeah......what you're facing may suck, but it reminds you of your power, what you're capable of, and how strong you are. It gives you the motivation to fight no matter how painful it may get, because you hold the power to be successful.
The 'phenomenal' constantly repeating in the background is extremely distracting for me. I can't enjoy the song because of it. It's missing something else too. I think Em was less enthusiastic about this track.. probably made specifically for the movie.

Tatianna Irizarry-Melendez I was born in 1984, so I remember him gaining popularity, which is impressive in and of itself. Everyone compared him to Vanilla Ice, so everywhere he went, he had to prove himself, and that never stopped until everyone gave up and accepted the fact that he was legit, that and he always found ways to hide that obvious fact with controversy, that before anyone knew it, he managed to succeed as a white rapper, which no one would think would even be possible at the time. So he had to have something to pull that off, whether anyone actually likes him as a rapper or not. He was an anti-image. Terrible role model, the wrong color, not very tough looking, arguably annoying voice, but with a talent that made none of that matter.
This song is hella inspiring, especially if you're dealing with self doubt, feeling like you not as good as you are at your craft... A song like this just dissolves that white noise blocking your skills
Every song that I hear from this man has a whole new flow that fits exactly to the subject and atmosphere of the song. I swear Eminem is on such a level in creating flows that there hasn't been and will never be someone at his level. We are so lucky to live in the era of Eminem.

Those of you that don't like Eminem's new music just don't get it. He grew up, and he's lending valuable life experiences that he's grown from. So listen to the words instead of worrying how cool the beat sounds. This is why half the world are sheep and why people like Eminem will always stand out. Because while you're criticizing him he's busy dreaming infinitely, probably in his sleep too. Eminem's old songs are FUN to listen to, but his slim shady persona gives you jack shit to take motivation from. I love Eminem and his old persona too. I just prefer him as the motivational aggressive guy, that's when he's at his best, because of the words and thoughts he let's out, not how cool the beat sounds. If you listen to Eminem for cool beats, stop insulting him by being a fan. Go listen to something like blood on the dance floor instead.
People who hate on his music are not intelligent enuff to understand his writing and the way he bends words and his almost unthinkable punchlines.. If all your worried about is what the beat sounds like u lack knowledge on any hiphop. If u think he's washed up ur wrong Em dude has nothing to prove he proved way more then expected this is the man who changed hiphop along with a select few ita honesty beating a dead horse.. A ford guy is gonna argue with a Chevy guy all day everyday even when they broke down on the side of the rode waiting for a Chevy tow truck
***** or his new songs just don't match his old shit. The beats aren't as good, the flow kind a sucks in most of his songs and his lyrics aren't as good. He used to have simple but clever lyrics. Now it's like he's either trying too hard or not trying hard enough. Stan and Bad Guy show the difference well. He's new stuff is weaker. Some of the new songs are good but none of them match his best and he has more weak songs then before. You can disagree if you want but don't insult others for having a different opinion

This song is so motivational. I am a student that had a problem with studying and with laugh from other colleagues who were tolding me that I can't do anything and that I am just a worlds rubish. With this song I've made a lot of things so now when I look back to my life and look at myself now , I just say "But I'll never say No it's impossible, cuz everyone is born to be phenomenal"...
This song gave me the guts to overcome addiction to alcohol and drugs, given the history of my family and many suicides later because of it. By the Grace of God my Father, delivered me and I Am Phenomenal. I'm still here 6 yrs sober and awake. I'm so grateful. GLORY TO GOD

Dude, Eminem has already said that he dont even know how to use a computer 😹😹hahahahah but it was a good try. Maybe next one! P.S: Dont trust me? Listen to "So Far..."
I was wondering that myself. This one and “Last One Standing” are actually really good lyric videos. I’ve seen so many lyric videos that are trash, but those two are so good. Edit: I love the flashing lights too… Really sets off the atmosphere of what the movie and the song represent.
Right!? I've had the chorus to "When I'm Gone" as my ringtone for the longest time, one of Eminems best songs of all time, I'm debating on changing it to this tho!
Anthony Barbati Yep Yelawolf, 50, Obie Trice, 2Pac, Maroon 5, Sia, Dr. Dre, NWA, Bugz, D12, Linkin Park and many more hip-hop artists specially but Eminem is my #1 since 2002 and I was really young that time and his like the first I've ever liked
I remember when I heard this back in about 2016 when I was homeless at the time. This was the inspiration I needed to get up off my ass, stop feeling sorry for myself and get out there, get some applications into whoever was hiring at the time and then boom, I made it. I might have gotten myself hurt at a few points, but I didn't stop or slow down. Instead, I just kept going, no matter how much it hurt and gave it the old college try until I couldn't anymore. Nowadays, I find solace knowing I can actually use this song again as a catalyst for something else, something I can use my brains on this time around.
Lets face it. No matter how sick a verse today is, everyone is going to be stuck in the past and just say "that shit was way better back then, this shit is crap". 20 years from now they'll be like " I wish music today was more like music from 20 years ago".
i love how he speaks his mind and people are saying mean things but he's telling the truth about things he isn't lying about these things and thats good that he is doing this i love eminem he is an amazing guy he wont be leaving intill he's done witch wont be ever
+Marcio Couto I swear I tried and succeed at only the first 2 verses. The last verse is the biggest tongue twister to pronounce the huge words. He's just so clever with all of these big words. I got all the way until "Ready to face any challenge, waitin' can taste it, wagin' retaliation............reputation is validation..... or accusation....... your allegin is making an allegation". I swear no one else uses big words and can still spit fire.
+Donia Chavis trust me your. depression won't stop if you keep comparing yourself to the prety girls from the tv and magazine and websites. you are prety the way u are.
You are Phenomenal, and if you feel you're not quite there.. As Eminem said, "won't stop until I'm, phe-nom-enal." don't stop, keep fighting.. You'll get there.
Have any of you guys heard of the rapper, Jake Jacoby? If you haven't, I definitely suggest that you look him up cause he is seriously as good lyrically as Eminem. And the dude only has like 2000 subscribers or something like that...
+Donia Chavis I know from personal experience that when you get out of depression you'll be so happy. Both because it's over and because depression makes you tough. It's like carrying around a bunch of weights. Once you drop them, everything will be easy.
Fuck it I'll make my own rap book story: Tupac wrote the book, Dre Produced it, Snoop Smoked the last chapter, 50 Made Millions off it, Em said "fuck this shit" and wrote his own, Kanye showed self control for once and shut up while Em was on stage, Kendrick is protecting it and Iggy tried reading it but got distracted by a handbag.

I showed this to my dog,
He's a wolf now.
Showed this to my dog. She's still dumb.
@@noirmidnight7706 :) ahahahahaha
I showed it to picachu he’s raichu now
I showed this to my wolf, he's phenomenal now.
Showed this to the man in the mirror, he's phenomenal now
Why is no one mentioning how cool this lyric video is. The lyrics are on Posters and Newsletters. I love that, it's clever 😅
I tried looking to see if these are actuql posters to buy but no go
Its actually so dope.
💯🥰
True!
I was wondering that myself. This one and “Last One Standing” are actually really good lyric videos. I’ve seen so many lyric videos that are trash, but those two are so good.
Edit: I love the flashing lights too… Really sets off the atmosphere of what the movie and the song represent.
This song is Phenomenal!!!
yes, hence the name
+Toshiro Hitsugaya 😃😄😄
AJ Styles is Phenomenal!
Like AJ Styles :D
Yes and the song is also called phenomenal hahahhaahahahhahahahahhahahhahahahahahahahhshahahahahhaha banajajabahhahaha
I showed this to a Recruit, he's now General Of The Army
Made 4 years ago, still inspires me to this day. Amazing.
Am I the only one who got goosebumps every time the chorus kicked back in?
Maybe, but for me,i get hype when the chorus came
Helixify Was about to write that. Found a new ringtone
Right!? I've had the chorus to "When I'm Gone" as my ringtone for the longest time, one of Eminems best songs of all time, I'm debating on changing it to this tho!
Helixify I already did it :D
Yeah that chorus is fire!!
This song is awesome honestly like one of the best this year cause most of the songs came out this year is awful tbh
Just a Stan Really love Marshall
Just a Stan Do you listen to anyone besides Eminem?
Anthony Barbati Yep Yelawolf, 50, Obie Trice, 2Pac, Maroon 5, Sia, Dr. Dre, NWA, Bugz, D12, Linkin Park and many more hip-hop artists specially but Eminem is my #1 since 2002 and I was really young that time and his like the first I've ever liked
Anthony Barbati bro, look at his name.
he clearly doesn't!
Fabreze g killuminati Oh well, his loss from listening to guys like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, etc.
"phenomenal" echoing kinda powers over his chorus and without the lyrics I wouldn't have been able to understand/hear what he was saying
Very true
VanDaLaShart KRK Yepp
The 4 best rapper

2) Marshall Mathers

Kings never die too :)
Spoderman for real
Look up that rapper, Jake Jacoby! He's seriously like the new Eminem!
People hated so much on this song and it's music video when it first came out for no damn reason it's fire af.
Lets face it. No matter how sick a verse today is, everyone is going to be stuck in the past and just say "that shit was way better back then, this shit is crap". 20 years from now they'll be like " I wish music today was more like music from 20 years ago".
Agreed 👏
Exactly. He may not have the same appeal as he used to, but we need to take advantage while he still raps.
Haha I've seen you in like 4 comments in the past 10 minutes.
Scott Smith exactly he still drops dope songs but people are just mad how his attitude changed and dont have any problems to rap about anymore
Scott Smith probably but I don't like his style. I liked Relapse and then Recovery was ok but now it's the same beat. same style fuck this
This is it. This is the best workout song of all time.
Kayla Jude till i collapse i think ;)
Mos def
this song always hypes me up. its on my workout playlist and studying playlist. it helps me to focus on pushing through
Imagine AJ styles using this song

Awesome thing eminem himself is a wrestling fan😂😂
i love how he speaks his mind and people are saying mean things but he's telling the truth about things he isn't lying about these things and thats good that he is doing this i love eminem he is an amazing guy he wont be leaving intill he's done witch wont be ever
3 Things happened to me today.
1. My friend said he hated eminem.
2. My friend got hit by a bus.
3. I lost my bus driving license.
XD comment of the day
Hahah
One Two Son, please leave.
+Sids Father So your friend got hit by a bus because he hated Eminem. You hit him didn't you.
+Kente Charles It's kinda self explanatory..
That moment when you realize that even reading the lyrics is still impossible sing together.
+Marcio Couto What about that moment?
+Marcio Couto I swear I tried and succeed at only the first 2 verses. The last verse is the biggest tongue twister to pronounce the huge words. He's just so clever with all of these big words. I got all the way until "Ready to face any challenge, waitin' can taste it, wagin' retaliation............reputation is validation..... or accusation....... your allegin is making an allegation". I swear no one else uses big words and can still spit fire.
Tru but I am getting better I just need the lyrics now
LoL. I still get tongue tied on some parts
ikr
eminem is the best motivation fr

ემინემი ფორევერად
His lyrics are like inception, meaning within meaning + wordplay
This song was perfect for the movie Southpaw and Jack was phenomenal and his body transformation too.
*Jake
Southpaw is a great film and Jake murdered that role to be honest.
" work hard in silence, let your success be the noise"
I’ll never say it’s impossible cause I’m born to be PHENOMENAL
This song helps me cope with depression and stop self harming. I can't stop. I was born to be phenomenal.
Damn right!(: keep going and I hope you come on top of any obstacle life throws at you
+Donia Chavis trust me your. depression won't stop if you keep comparing yourself to the prety girls from the tv and magazine and websites. you are prety the way u are.
I showed this to my grass...
Now it's weed.
Sean C. 😂😂😂😂 that joke was phenomenal xD
@@bobz1782 This one is better haha
Spark it up😂
very funny,very original
Lmao
The last 1:30-1:45 of this track is up there with any bars Em has laid.
The face that runs that place, the champ that runs the camp! lol
Joseph Su'a AJ styles

Someone had a little bit too much fun using Prezi when they made this music video.
+TheIcefreeze OH my god yes! XD
Lmfao XDDDD
😁 best comment here ever
Prezi? What's that?
*****
Something like Powerpoint. The difference is that instead of fading in the next side it moves to it
When I'm feeling unmotivated I listen to this. I instantly feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. I love it so much.
Em you are phenomenally talented. Love this inspirational song it’s crazy how many motivational songs he has ❤

I love Eminem hes a huge inspiration for me since i was a kid hes truly the best rapper in my opinion
Fuck it I'll make my own rap book story:
Tupac wrote the book, Dre Produced it, Snoop Smoked the last chapter, 50 Made Millions off it, Em said "fuck this shit" and wrote his own, Kanye showed self control for once and shut up while Em was on stage, Kendrick is protecting it and Iggy tried reading it but got distracted by a handbag.
Legit mate
G20 "Iggy tried reading it but got distracted by a handbag" lmao!!!!
Hey
G20.
I am KK Yea eh... no.
the fact that he wrote it in 5 minutes ( give or take ) takes the song to another dimension

TODOS OS ANOS TÔ PASSANDO POR AQUI 🔥😁
Eminem writing a song for a movie means it is a guaranteed kick ass anthem
This should be AJ style's theme song.
+undertakerfreak1011 Eh, i like his theme, but this one would fit in great.
they can't use artists music unless they edit it and I feel like WWE would ruin this song if they do
+Random Vloggers or if they get the rights to it
+Random Vloggers they just have to pay the artist to make the song there's
WWE need to get Eminem to play this live for AJ Styles at Wrestlemania.
5 years later, still a good song to listen to while on a run
Not gonna lie, this and "Kings Never Die" really inspires and motivates me. #BcsGoals
just came from kings never die, when they play all i wanna do is run idk y lol it gives me so much motivation and energy
Alexandra Sinclair
"Try Not Afraid"
It inspires.
TODM, CLASS....LOTS
I have a secrete video that I found of this music video, that revels a clip of a demon spotted in one of the scenes! ruclips.net/video/tlK9GE8Raog/видео.html
To be honest I do like this song better. I think this would compete with Till I collapse.
Under-rated but phenomenal
Warning ⚠️ if you love God then help him save people teach everyone that Jesus is the only way to heaven and he's coming back soon repent live righteous and get baptized before it's too late
@@spazzout9456 he is phenomenal failure but a good antichrist in life teaching others to join him. I AM born a Jew, taught to reject Jesus. Now He is my forgiver and best friend. Share Jesus everywhere, i preach in the street to his followers and some are listening.
Was gonna comment about the song.......but fuck it THE LEGION LOVES YOU!
