People tend to say beginner and expect you to know all the terms half the commands and already know how to hook up Proxy's. Looks like I will have to run to the store to get a USB Wifi adapter for my laptop. Also, I am using Kali in VirtualBox but my main system is Win10 (I am currently taking classes and a lot of the stuff I have to do requires Windows 10).. is that okay? I do own a RPi4 but I would much rather run Kali through my laptop>VBox
Now first off as Joseph said "Any USB wifi adapter will work" I kinda don't believe in it. For example if you want to scan your surrounding networks let's say using Airmon-ng then you'll be needing specific USB wifi adapters. Again, I might be wrong, but I watched a well known youtubers video NullByte where he explains that not every USB wifi adapters have the capability to go into Monitor Mode.
@@tanzeelazam9552 Very true. Only certain kinds will work like that and then it is an even shorter list of adapters that will work in a VM I found out. Usually what I do when I want to scan with airmon and all that stuff is use a live USB of Kali.
I'm literally installing Kali on a USB boot load rn. It's so easy just look up how to dual boot Kali Linux and Windows 11. That way you can have them both and choose between the two

Also the first result on Google for the term, "fud virus" is a forum post on symantec talking about Fully UnDetectable viruses, so it's not like something he just made up or anything.

I find that hackers are terrible teachers. You and computerphile are really the only channels that make it somewhat relatable to the newbie.
