    So far I've only bought the Legendary "Power ball" spec and after applying it to all of my golfers, some of which are not levelled up at all with any skill-points yet, they were all crushing the ball off the tee and hitting as far as the pro players would, despite the fact none of these chars have any skill points applied to them at all! Their overall ranking interestingly didn't seem to go up from 67 or whatever the starting value each newly created char comes with, but the stats from the Legendary Power ball spec were definitely making my completely fresh, un-levelled characters absolutely smashing the ball and being vastly more accurate as well - presumably because the added stats of 58 across the player stats and the additional 85 power stat are inflating the stats on every shot.
    I think there could be some really interesting combinations/over-powered ways to make your bag and clubs etc really work for you with these specs - I also noticed that the standard "Legendary" versions are statistically quite a bit worse in terms of the stats compared to the Legendary Player versions that are around as well...Dustin Johnson's legendary specs for example give something like an additional 12-15 points minimum to various stats compared with the regular legendary versions - with some tweaking and playing around I think people will be able to put together a bag of clubs with specs applied and not even have to level their character up and still be able to compete with everyone / CPU on hardest difficulties etc!

    The degree number is the angle between the club face and the plane that is at a 90 degree angle to the shaft. If the shaft is held vertically it's the angle the clubface has relative to the ground.

    What level are you, and what are your current skill point trees looking like? I've got about 80 hours into the game and just realized you can hit x while swinging to boost power, lol i still can't t get a perfect or long drive figured out. I've been grinding on career mode nonstop. I got my guy to level 56, lol

  • @tomservo75

    So those specs on the clubs, Power, Accuracy, does that give you 58 power or raise your power rating by 58? 58 power seems low for something that costs 15,000 coin. Is this like 2k23 where you increase ratings through new club fittings rather than skill points? Do they both work together?
    I'm also getting confused because there are so many things here: coins, skill points, XP, tickets, badges, specs. How do you keep them all straight?

  • @Jok3rzGrinn

    Ik when you first acquire a spec it gives you the option to apply to all, but is there an inventory somewhere where I can see what specs n clubs I have?

    • @Himoccio
      @Himoccio  Год назад

      Sadly no, only once you go to apply it can you see the ones you have for that club type.

    Great vid! Are the spec boosts only active on the specific club? For example, a power boost from a driver spec: does it only apply to the driver or does it contribute to the overall power?

    Do skills negate specs? For example if my skills are 87/100 for accuracy is there a point to get an iron spec with 87/100 accuracy? My skill points could then be used toward something else?

      @sound0fmind Same here. I'm level 37 with only 10,000 reward points. I've only had enough to buy one 18,000 golf ball spec. So I have a lifetime total of 28,000. My guess is he plays every tournament possible and he does very well. I'm planning on doing the same. Even when I didn't do so well I got a decent haul. Some of the tournaments will net you 6000 tokens. Look into it. And friend me THAGAMEZOVA. I have no friends that play this game unfortunately.

    • @sound0fmind
      @sound0fmind Год назад

      @@thagamezova9310 Yeah, I figured that was it. I think my problem is that I put most of my XP into things other than power, so even my long drives are barely 300y. Usually the best I can score is -2 or -3 if I'm lucky, in the free tournament. Plus, I want to get at least 18k so I can get a gold spec before I start paying 1k to enter a tournament. Are you on PS5?

    • @thagamezova9310
      @thagamezova9310 Год назад +2

      @@sound0fmind yes. I'm on ps5. Don't forget to use your power boost to hit further. Since the skill level is arcade it will help your distance for the free tournament. It's LB or X repeatedly while you wind up your swing. My first playthrough I usually get even or -1. But I'll usually keep trying until I'm tied somewhere in the top 100. If it's too tough I will cut my loses and take the -1. Beware: I tried a 9 hole tournament. 3 tickets were required every time I tried to better my score. I like the challenge but I'm not sure I'm ready yet. We will see.
