Thanks so much for these Mablethorpe videos. Me and my dog rented a Motorhome on the back of them and spent a week there just. Ive now gone and bought a tow bar for the car and a caravan!!. Thank you so much :)
Pop up tent would meet your needs perfectly and no problem if its wet when you pack up as you can dry it at home in the garden. I have a big van and a bigish blow up awning but use my pop up shelter more because its so easy and can accommodate up to 8 people.
We too came from camping. I bought a massive caravan so we wouldn't need an awning. Then I got out voted and bought an air awning. We haven't used it yet. We are going away to Bay View holiday Park at Bolton Le Sands on the North Lancashire coast on thursday and it will be the awnings first time out of the box. I bet, like you, I hate it. We shall see. TTFN
Dave Dickson I can see their use for families who need the extra space for dining and stuff. It’s certainly not needed for just the two of us. I’m on the hunt for a little pop up utility tent just to store stuff in now.
I love Mablethorpe lovely beach takes me about 2 1/2 hours to get there you were lucky to get in its very busy I cant get out yet got knee injury Woodhall spa is a nice place to visit if you like Lincolnshire its got a kinema in the woods built in 1922 its a cinema in the woods look it up they have a caravan park there they also do a 1940 weekend and that's a very good weekend very busy though great vids I am getting al this free info from you so just to say thankyou
Love set up and your gang of travel buddies 🐈🐕 We went to Mablethorpe last year and plan to go back, this time camping, hence coming across your video and I'm super glad we did 😁 We too are considering taking our two cats along on some of our camping trips, and I was just wondering if you have any tips on how you manage to take your kitty with you safely? What do you do with her when you go out somewhere you can't take her? We'll be going in a tent so leaving our cats shut in a secure caravan isn't going to be an option for us, so we were considering getting a secure puppy run enclosure type thing for in the awning we have for our tent where they'll be out of sight, but we'd be worried it might get too warm. Will your cat walk on a lead/harness so she can sit outside with you? Thanks in advance for any advice! 😊 x
I never took my cat when us when we went tent camping as i never felt that a tent was secure enough to keep a cat contained and that was a big reason for buying a caravan. He does, indeed wear a harness and will walk on a lead but not in the way that a dog does ... he won’t be told where to go! He will very happily sit outside with us though and will either stay in the van when we go out or I have a special cat backpack that he travels in. Happy travels!
Lovely to see the whole family out, you looked really happy and chilled, I have managed to get a few days away and it was fab oh and good to hear a fellow welsh accent from the camping host
Oh finally some normal people , who aren’t or don’t make out they are minted. Just practical people - refreshing. We have two caravans the 19’ 2 berth we keep sited and the little Compass we tow with. They are both perfectly nice 👍 if you have to change your vehicle it’s no biggie is it !
