Thank you for taking the time to go through all of this. I recently bought a 1964 and the clock wasn't working. Took it out...followed your steps and bam....working clock! Thanks!

Excellent tutorial and a good plug on the Blue creeper. I'll be pickig some up and give it a go with mine on my 66.

That Blue creeper is amazing. They make a version for sewing machines that would be perfect for the borg clocks. Called SMO (yup, smo, sewing machine oil)

About my 65 Ford Thunderbird. Troubleshooting the signal and brake lights had been a pain. Next to get the gas gauge working. But now I know about the clock.

Did you try to ground your guage wire to see if it moves? Mine didn't work either, turned out it was si.ply a ground wire.

I've got a 64 galaxie that has a working clock as long as it's not below like 60 degrees out. I've even seen it start working after driving it and the heater has warmed up the inside of the car. Also will start working if I tap the dash once or twice. Holds perfect time when it works. Suppose it's just gummy and the points need cleaned?

My clock was working and then would stop. I guess I opened the points too far to file them. Clock will never work again.
