    Thankfully I found another video that shows the correct way first time as opposed to this one where you eventually got there.
    Not a great advert doing it the wrong way first time… thinking about potential damage to your drill 😮

      @@powertoolsrepair The first part of the video where you were unsuccessful. It shows bad practice as this potentially damages the drill internals (gearbox).

    im sorry but this video was so hard to keep up with.. there was no extra info to help go along with.. and a lot was half out of frame... My drill will only turn in 1 but stalls in 2

      Hello, then you need new gear assy or plastic gear cover because gears on it is damaged

    A much easier way to take it out without opening the gearbox, you can put a bush on the aluminum part where the handle is used to close the handle, and fasten a bush to the neck of the mandrel and make two holes on both sides of the bush by nailing it and two long screws in the door. Tighten it until it reaches the end bush around the aluminum neck and tighten it. In this case, it acts like a puller and pulls the mandel out with the shaft, and there is no need to open the drill and gearbox.
