I'm in your same situation, word by word. Learn to rely on yourself. You dont necessarily need someone to lead you through life. Loneliness can be devastating for those who are not able to cope with it. Its up to you to turn it into your strength. You can be in charge of your lfe, indipendent of anyone, and that feels incredibly good and empowering. Thats what i did, and I've never regretted it. Stop whining and looking for someone's shoulder to cry on.

Without other people in your life you just become old and bitter! Needing a shoulder ever now and then is a good thing.
