I can't help but wonder if Nastya knew while skating this program that this would be her last competition. She's such a tragic case of a young talent gone untapped. She shone just as brightly as any of the Tutberidze girls and her strengths deserved to be realized. She fought to be seen in such an incredibly deep ladies field till the very end. I wish her well into her retirement and hope that her coaching career brings her happiness and health. She deserved so much more.
I think she did, she looked clearly injured here. She was one of my favorites along with Kostarnia, and is extremely underrated. I hope she’s happy now
@@Plaspos It hurts to think about honestly. I've been following her career since she was with Tutberidze. She was such an incredible athlete, it's awful thinking about how she really fell through the cracks. Her coaches failed her, Tutberidze most of all. The fact that they forced her to compete in that knee brace was awful, absolutely horrific. I hope that she and Adian both came to terms with what Eteri did to them; the fact that he choreographed her last short program feels really bittersweet to me. They all deserved so much better.

She was a tutberidze girl herself…and just as good as Kostornaia in 2017-18 season. Injuries and coaching problems did her in just like Kostornaia :(
