I'm planning to retire in two years,live in Tennessee,and have plans to resale to supplant my income at that time. I have been watching your work for about a year and you have taught me a great deal about this industry. I was stunned the first time I clicked on your program, I could not believe the person I was looking at. After two tours of duty with The United States Navy in many parts of the world my stepson , Timothy M. Shirley( master at arms) returned home to us safely. After having been home a very short time he was gunned down for no apparent reason in the parking lot of a local pizza business. He died on the spot and we are heartbroken. The thing that caused me to catch my breath when I first watched your videos was the absolute uncanny physical resemblence between you and Tim. Sometimes, when I watch I find myself getting choaked up, it's almost like seeing him happy and busy again. God bless you and your endeavors,I hope you continue to prosper, and I know you will.I was at first only reselling blue jeans , but you keep teaching me more ways to make my business work.Thank you for your insights, a friend in Tennessee.

Taco Stacks is a good guy and if he reminds you of you son then that's an "on purpose" from God. Keep it together as best you can. I know sometimes you won't be able to, then it'll slowly come back. I lost my sister to alcoholism and I have more anger than grief. She made me physically sick from worry, I'm slowly finding my way back. Watching Taco has helped me too. I comment here all the time. Taco , start out next year by learning to organize your van. Keep a couple totes in it to put small stuff and glass items in to keep from rolling around and breaking. You and Salsa have a Merry Christmas!!!
Glade you got some good finds as your day started not so good with finger pinch and and busting door skin. Could just silicone it back in, or do a drywall style fix using a backing and glue. Can likely replace realatvly inexpensively also. Great show! Say "Hi!" to Salsa👍 & stay warm.
The things in the tray are curlers. I use the in my toddler class so the kids can nest them. Put one into another. The love doing this and I’m always on the lookout for more.

Just glue gun a small metal sign over that hole so you don't have to pay for a replacement expensive part. That Workbasket small magazines are patterns for knitters and are collectible - worth money.

Some one in that house went to beauty school. Those cases held your initial kit. Permanent wave rods, scissors, book, combs brushes, etc.. The rollers too. You need to keep a supply of band-aids in your truck and be sure to be up on your tetanus boosters.
This was the coolest picking haul yet! (Figuratively and literally 🥶🥶) When I was a kid I also would have loved that play set. I have not seen one like that before. Love the vids!!
How about keeping some band-aides & a First Aide Kit, in the van, for ocassions like the one that just happened. Being so cold as you stated, I can understand you rushing thru some piles of trash today. As I stated before, you are very devoted to you job! You did miss, one of the lids, to that, like new pot set. Stainless pans, are not cheap, those looked like good guility ones. Just another suggestion, how about keeping some of those vinyl disposable gloves, in the van; this way when you don't put your leather gloves on or just have one of the leather gloves on, you still have your hands protected! I do seem to want to watch you each day, interesting!

That's good to help stave off any infection, but you also need to repair or replace those gloves so you don't keep irritating the wound through the hole that was accidentally made. Maybe this is a good opportunity to get some insulated winter/freezer work gloves.

After cutting yourself you should keep your one glove on. At least it's your own germs in the glove so might get sore but not anyone's else's mess. Got to keep first aid in the truck when your in this business. Salsa needs his friend so please have a safe New Year my friend.
Get some e-6000 glue and put around the edge of the plastic piece you broke on you van door, then fill the hole with foam or packing styrofoam, put painters tape around the front side of the broken piece and basically tape it into place. When it dries/cures after at least 24 hours, remove the tape. You'll need to be careful not to put too much glue on the edges or the tape will stick to it. With the styrofoam in the hole, you'll have something the broken piece has to lean up too. Clean excess glue off that oozes out when you set the piece into place, while it's still wet. Some people also use hot glue with the e-6000 because it dries almost instantly, holding the piece into place until the e-6000 cures. Good luck. I'm surprised there was nothing behind the panel that broke to help reduce noise.

Black epoxy to glue that piece back in place. Keep an eye out in the trash for pieces of similar plastic to use as backing. Consider mounting another piece of plastic or lightweight metal over the door panel to absorb the bumps, bangs and bruises. It could be mounted with velcro pads or strips so it could be easily removed and replaced if damaged.

Yes I told my cousin that he shouldn't lift up old metal without gloves. Two months later his hand had become infected and needed surgery!

You need to keep a small first aid kit in your van...just in case.

That Hot Wheels Garage set is great! I've sold this a few times complete and incomplete from $20 for parts to $60 complete

Black epoxy to glue that piece back in place. Keep an eye out in the trash for pieces of similar plastic to use as backing. Consider mounting another piece of plastic or lightweight metal over the door panel to absorb the bumps, bangs and bruises. It could be mounted with velcro pads or strips so it could be easily removed and replaced if damaged.
Those small magazines are called work basket and very sought after
