I'm glad you got there safe! Please continue to be a loyal RUclipsr and upload regularly! I will be studying abroad in Korea starting next month so these vlogs are super helpful. 너는 잘 공부하고 먹 주세요! 유튜브 비디오 좋아하세요!
What do you mean by hard to get in? Like in terms of acceptance rate or how hard the application was to complete? Also the application for next year opens up in August I’m pretty sure
Hi Lour Drick! I found your channel by chance when looking for advice for college essays, and then discovered NSLI-Y from you after that. Feels a bit like fate, but I quickly decided I would attempt to go and am currently filling out the application. I’ve already watched your application advice videos and am on to your vlogs in order to gage how the trip might be. By the way, I’m also attempting to go for the South Korea 2021 summer. My question is, how much did you miss your parents? I’ve never been away from home that long and it’s nerve wracking to imagine, but I really want to go. Were you so busy that you didn’t feel homesick? This is my main concern. Thanks in advance!
I definitely had a really full schedule, which helped. I did also message with my family back home, which also helped. Homesickness was definitely common towards the end of the program, but I think we were caught up with all the things going on to really dwell on it

Lour Drick Valsote yes I mean like the terms of acceptance and what are some tips you have for the essay?
The acceptance rate is around 20% I believe. My biggest piece of advice would be to show how your interests and the program’s mission align
how much did u have to pay to go to south korea with this program
A solid $0. The program runs solely off scholarships
@@LourDrickValsote what about your own private expenses? Like your own food or clothing and stuff
Which city did you fly to Korea from?
san fran!
