1. I loved this theme, it was really fun and clever. 2. I will never stop being amazed by how quickly you do these, sure English isn't my first (or even third) language, so that might be why, but I'm confused for about 99% of the time lol 3. The word Lapp is.. very insensitive here (Sweden). The Sami people are the indigenous people of northern Sweden, Norway and Finland, and 'Lapp' was what they were called by "proper Swedish people". Think calling native Americans redskins, kind of the same vibe.
@@thomaswagenolaussen7941 I got like a whole shock to my system when I realized what word they were after actually. Like i only know that word from like, mom berating morfar or whatever lol
Wow, I had no idea! Surprised they used a word like that, that's a shame. As for my speed, I have a good amount of practice! There are lots of little crossword tricks you pick up along the way that are useful, I try to point them out when I can.
@@crosswordasmr3207 I'm not surprised you didn't know. I don't think it's a word most people outside of the Nordic countries know really. I just wanted to give a heads up. Would guess that the maker of the crossword also didn't know how it's been used either to be fair. Also! Love the dark mode! Makes it so much easier to look at!
thank you so much for darkmode! I love your videos so far, i always look forward to your new uploads :) Do you have an upload schedule or is it random? :0 Love from Australia!
lovely video as always! as a Scandinavian i feel i have to point out that “lapp” unfortunately is a slur. it refers to the indigenous Sami peoples of northern Scandinavia, but is considered outdated and offensive nowadays.
5 Across - immediately, I recalled the nursery rhyme: Jack Sprat could eat no fat His wife could eat no lean And so betwixt them both They licked the platter clean.
