It wasn’t a pretty empty answer. What is wrong with you people? Kubiak is licking his chops looking at the possibilities of this offense under Carr. He is a proven veteran QB with elite arm talent who can make any throw, is great in play action and also is a good roll out passer. All they need is to get their offensive line straight and they have a proven good 60 year old OL coach to do just that.
There. I fixed it for y’all. That is a good analysis.

Man, I am a Saints fanatic. Season ticket holder. I HOPE you’re right, but I don’t know why half the fan base believes so much in Carr. I really don’t. I’m not a hater, I want the right decisions made for us to be a contender again. I don’t know how anyone can think Carr is that guy. Carr is proven….proven he can’t win a playoff game. I’ve heard all the excuses for him, but elite qbs can carry a team…to ONE playoff win at minimum. I don’t want to hear about the Raiders D. Yes, it’s impossible to win with an awful D. My response to that excuse is when a team has an awful d, they must get in shoot outs. Even Drew went 7-9 when our D was a joke…but we were a top 3 offense every season since we had to try to keep up. Carr has cracked top 10…once. I just don’t see it, but I hope you’re right.

@@joshbrister5803 Carr led the Raiders to a 12-3 record in 2016 before breaking his leg. They played the Texans in the playoffs and loss, but beat them during the year. He had an MVP type season and they would have went deep into the playoffs had he not got hurt. They fired his OC at the end of the year and his head coach the following year. Gruden came in and had a complete team rebuild. His #1 receiver in 2018 was the almost 40 year old Jordy Nelson. The defense was bad in 2019 and historically bad in 2020.
In 2020, the Raiders defense averaged giving up over 30 points a game and had less turnovers and sacks than the 1982 Lions. No team whose defense gave up at least 30 points a game average has ever won more than 5 games. The Raiders won 8 games that year under Carr.
In 2021, their offense was top 3 after 5 games and then Ruggs and Gruden happened. But Carr still put up 4800 yards and rallied the Raiders to win their last 4 games to make the playoffs with an interim head coach and Zay Jones as his #1 receiver.
In 2022, McDaniels was a disaster and in 2023 the Saints were basically a disaster with no OC and a pitiful offensive line especially for the first 6 weeks and no running game. And yet he still rallied and basically carried the Saints to 9 wins.
And all that are not excuses. That is what happened in his career. He has never had team stability. Give him a good OC and a decent OL like all these other “elite” QB’s and he will be elite also.
The fact that none of these podcasters are bringing up the facts above is ridiculous and shows laziness and just following the crowd.
Carr has tremendous arm talent with a strong arm and a quick release and can make any throw with accuracy. All he needs is a decent team and stability and he will shine.

Right. I even heard one podcaster suggest that they are sure Kubiak would rather have Caleb Williams than Carr. Ha. So he’d rather have the next very possible draft bust instead of a proven franchise QB? These people have no clue. Their group hatred of Carr has blinded them.
SF tried to trade for Carr specifically because they know that a proven franchise QB is more valuable than a crap shoot in the draft. How did Trey Lance work out for them, after Gruden turned them down?

@@MosheGoldbergTheKing That’s what I like about you. You always have good facts about what’s happening in the league.
Kubiak is in the perfect OC scenario. He already has a proven experienced veteran QB who can make any throw. He has good receivers. He was able to work with DA in bringing in the coaches that he wants. He doesn’t have to coach the whole team but just concentrate on the offense.
By the way, did you see my new nickname for Michael Thomas - Cancer MT? Ha. It fits his gansta sign flashing brick throwing tweeting against his own QB and team lifestyle.
      And Don’t Listen Winston.
And how about one for Kamara to make fun of his nose ring - Hook Nose Kamara
      And Walk on Water Brees?
      And Lost In Space Olave
I like to make fun of the ones that some Saints fans have idolized.
These people are strange. They have more respect for Hook Nose Kamara and second year receiver Lost in Space Olave than they do for their own QB. That is one thing about them. They know how to circle the wagon and support who they like, to a fault. If they like you, you can do no wrong. If they hate you, you can do no right.

The only time the saints dominated was when they ran dual threat RBs ingram and kamara, when ingram left they went from top tier to mediocrity. And when ingram came back they stopped the dual theat and was rotating them...if it aint broke dont fix it. They both needed to be in there. Saints need 2 threats in the backfield to open up the pass game, give an extra block ,pulls a corner, and a you still have a TE and Rb you dump the ball off if recievers cant get open.

I beg to differ saying AK isn't McCaffrey. These guys were neck and neck when he was with Carolina. Matter of fact AK was considered better than him by most ppl. The difference now is AK had a horrible OC the past 2 seasons who had horrible play calling tendecies making AK look horrible. With a better OC. I know you will have McCaffrey style success or better with AK b/c he is that dude still. AK was very frustrated with the situation for whatever reason. You could see it after plays with his body language.

Yep. Charmichael was doing what management and ownership TOLD him to do. What O.C. is going to have 4-5 playmaking starters--Kamara, Hill, Olave, and Shaheed--on the bench when the game is on the line and not be over-ridden immediately? Some highly placed people got PAID off the bizarre play-calling of last season.

You people just sound like a broken record with your hatred of DA and DC. What fan base hates their own coach and QB?
DA got some of the coaches on defense that he changed last year. This year he has totally rebuilt his offensive coaching. But wait! I thought we were told by this toxic fan base that no one wanted to play for DA or coach for DA? Well it looks like he is having no problems getting the FA he wants and everyone of them said that the Saints culture was a big reason why they came here.
In on the offensive coaching, he got the OC that he wanted, the QB coach that he wanted and the 60 year old OL coach that he wanted, etc.
After 3 years, Payton’s record with the Saints was 25-23. DA has a chance to surpass that with a good season this year, in his third year.
Why don’t we just try to enjoy the games and see how things play out? I’ve never seen a more complaining and toxic fan base. Or maybe it’s just the loudest ones on the internet that just tend to drown every one else out.

@@akeredun Every team has problems at times. They are going though a transition. In retrospect, Carmichael should have been gone sooner. Carr basically carried the Saints last year without a running game and without an OC to a top 10 offense.
DA now has the people he wants in place. Kubiak and company will thrive under Carr and these receivers as long as their offensive line can be at least decent this year, and DA got the OL coach that he wanted to fix just that.
They also got rid of Cancer MT and Don’t Listen Winston, so things are looking up!
