I LOVE this expansion! I would teach new people with the expansion but not the new factions. I’d give them a base faction. But the objectives actually help teach because it gives a direction to go. The “wild” cards help because it’s just stronger and gives them more access to their modules. The extra cards and tokens are just more choices. The extra locations like likes and stuff just make the board portion more unique as it expands and makes hibernating more interesting. Etc.
Great points! I think the way I wish I had verbalized it was I think I would teach with it, but it would be hard to learn the game from the rules for the first time with the expansion stuff. -Chris
I feel like another common question for expansions would be: will it fit in the base game box? I don't have the base game yet, so I don't know how much (if any) extra space there is. So, yeah, that's still my question... will this fit in the base game box if I were to get it (along with the base game)?
Ahh, great question! I'll try to add that to future expansion reviews. Depending on how you store things, I think you can fit it without too much issue. Most of the things like the machine and module tokens just mix with the base game as is. Thanks for asking. -Chris
Finished game 2 of the campaign today. Clearly base Revive will already be a pretty complex game by the time I introduce every rule. Only then I'll decide if I have the brainpower for even more 😅
Kinda like the base, looks like i will have to wait a year before my preorder releases. Only hear to know if it would fit in the base box. The rest is just gravy.

This gives me an idea for another top 10.. Games with Tracks.
Revive was amazing without this expansion. Revive is still amazing with this expansion. This game is just amazing.
Are those earrings the flowers from the original cover? :)
LOL, that was definitely not planned. -Wendy
Such a fun ending! 😆
Totally sealin'!

Totally 🦭
Based on the title (spineless, pun intended prob.) I didn't expect great things
