The lead in was some sort of fight accusing one of them for taking another's pudding from a lunch they all brought with them and eating it. It was to be settled by playing three games. For me , I thought as you did, that they were heading in the right direction by putting some heavier material in this song. We will see with future releases how serious they get with it. The drummer here was Ranna from Pinkish Crown. It's not that uncommon it seems for Japanese band to not be complete and/or have session players or featured artists. Look at Fate Gear, Mardelas, or BRATS for example.
