I've been a concert goer since 1970. My first Dead show was Jersey City '76. I saw the Eagles and Dan Fogelberg in Hershey PA in 1975. Only saw Phish once but I do enjoy their music. I've been watching these videos of this monstrosity since it first opened. It's my opinion that as a live music experience, this is bullshit. I'm happy for those who are attending and enjoying the experience and don't feel like they're paying several hundred bucks and up for an IMAX movie with a little dinky stage down front. Myself, I'd rather go find a local band playing originals up the road. YMMV. As for me, I think this is grotesque.
Honestly not trying to be a pill here, but it sounded like Joe threw a clunker on the early part of his solo. It was at the 3:40 mark. The phrase was executed just fine, but it seemed completely off from the underlying chord progression. I guess we all have those moments. Still a great performance!
