Good photos, just love trying out a new camera and lens and B&W is really effective for street photography. I must practice more! Looking forward to more posts.
Liked, and subscribed! Well-done! I bought a pre-owned, but like-new Voigtlander 35mm Color Skopar some time ago, but then misplaced it before I shot with it. During spring cleaning this year, I found it, and have been testing it. Google’s all seeing, all-knowing eye must have observed me searching for something about this lens, becuase this presentation appeared in my feed of recommended videos. This is a like-able little lens
Cosina/Voigtlander make wonderful lenses. In addition to the 35mm Color Skopar II, I have a tiny 25mm Snapshot Skopar, 75mm f/2.5 Color Heliar, Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical, and 50mm f/1.0 Nokton Aspherical, a mix of quite old, and among the newest. Cosina makes all but one of the Zeiss ZM lenses, too. I started Leica M shooting “at the top,” with a pre-owned Summilux-M 50mm ASPH, and it remains my favorite, but much good work can be done with Voigtlander and Zeiss lenses.
One thing is certain, I would rather be in Llangoillen, Wales, UK, today, at 21 C, rather than here in SE Texas, where the sun is trying to turn the heat up to 38 C.
Some great grabs there James 👌 Have you seen "Shots from the hip" by Johnny Stiletto? Exceptional book from the days of film, no auto focus and where luck was as important as skill 👍
I borrowed it first from the library in the eighties. Bought my own copy a few months ago and really enjoyed rereading it. Gifted it to our security guard at work. She was asking about street photography so I handed her my copy to borrow. A few days later, she was so thrilled with it that I didn't have the heart to take it back. The look on her face was worth far more than the cost of the book 😊
I liked the Boris's Breakfast with two old dears sitting outside. Nothing like stepping back in time with that photo.
Love the shot with the Harleys 👍🏼

Very nice, thank you.

Welcome aboard! Great little lens indeed. Yes everything you say is advertising gold!

That's great! I love the character of the Voigtlander lenses. Maybe the Leica glass in many cases is too perfect 🤔
Awesome presentation and photos!
Some fantastic shots of me on my Roadking Special
I had to take a shot! Stunning bike (and you looked pretty cool to 😉

Wow thats hot!
Loved your street shots taken with the Harley-Davidson of Cameras i.e. Leica
(vice versa, Harley is the Leica of Motorcycles)
No, no. BMW's are the Leicas of motorcycles.
@@Gravitys-NOT-a-force because BMW is German too (like Leica) ?
@@chirag4 , I was kidding - a bit - but I have a 1999 BMW R1100S, and it's still a great bike to ride.
@@Gravitys-NOT-a-force only yesterday I made a Facebook Album on customised BMW K1100RS Café Racers ....
0:16 I know that struggle… 😅😢

Thanks! No not seen that 👍🏼
I once had that book ... can`t recall what happened to it. Its a great read and I`ve just ordered another copy. Thank you for the reminder .

You look like a Harley owner with a Leica. ;-)
I’ve owned 3 Harleys as it happens!
Interesting! Did you get any photos of the Railway while you were there?
No I didn’t go that side 👍🏼
A rather stupid lens. Try the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 Biogon.
Stupid; Why?
a rather stupid comment 😂
