Klein is a legend
The great comedians are true cultural figures -- thanks for letting us visit with this one -- truly one-of-a-kind ❤
He stands out because of his humor but also his musical ability.

As a teen, Robert Klein made me go in my pants he was SO funny!
I'd love to know why I have never heard Robert Klein mention Mel Brooks at all. Anyone know?
Never heard him mention Buster Keaton either.
@@josephpaul4548 actually, if I'm not mistaken, I think even in this video he listed Buster Keaton as one of the comedians that influenced him, or that he had watched. But in all of his videos that I've watched, I've never heard him once mention Mel Brooks! Mel was so prominent on the comedy scene, I find it hard to believe their paths never crossed.
@@yonatonb I don't think he ever mentions Mel Brooks. I suppose he wasn't a major influence on him, or he would have mentioned him at some time. He always mentions Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor, and Mel Brooks is nothing like either of them, so maybe he just wasn't influenced by him very much.
