Dash is the difference between someone who just sings to a beat vs a musician. If you listen carefully he had a rough start because the key in which the song was recorded was higher than he could have carried live..so he adjusted and let the background singers sing the high notes while he adjusted into alto. Just freaking brilliant! Not a lot of people can do that at the drop of a hat.
Plus the level of melody and instrumentation is just off the charts. He could not be beat that night. Live love love him.
