Poor Astro Man didn't even want to be part of wily's army in this game, he was just forced to. Yet somehow, his ability is even stronger than most of the other robot masters. Also, who the heck gives a robot that works at a planetarium the ability to summon a meteor shower? Logic, my friends. That's why.
I think Wily made him to be a badass robot able to summon a meteor storm first, but then realized this robot was meek and not much of a fighter otherwise.
Let's Rock! I absolutely love how you reworked this old classic. A shame the sound bites didn't return, but I can understand why you chose not to put them in. Amazing work as always, my guy! 😎👍
Lovely. I don't think I've ever come across a remix/cover of Astro Man's stage BGM that I didn't like. This current one from you is no exception. Keep up the good work!
This theme has always fascinated me. My second favorite, right after Frostman's. It sure helped me cope with the frustration of that maze like thing (and BTW I didn't know you could use the Mega Balls like the way you did use them in your video)
This version is stunning but i still prefer the unaccurace version 1.0, it ressembles more what the MD soundchip would be able to do. Great work anyway, please keep going.
This new set of Mega Man 8 genesis remixes has been absolutely amazing! Any chance you’ll add Tengu or Sword man to finish off the set of 8 robot masters?
real talk at 0:15 I always though that "piano" sound was not part of the song. I thought there was a fuccin bee in my room while playing megaman 8 or something. YO FUCK THAT it was part of the song all along eh. anyway uh great job with ths
@@Dosoan no, Megaman and Bass was originally a SNES game (only released in Japan), the GBA is a (downgraded) port that did get an occidental release. As for the reason why Astroman is in both MM8 and MM&B... plot wise, who knows, but gameplay wise, Capcom probably wanted to save themselves some time in designing 2 robot masters and recycled him and Tenguman.
@@TheTrueBro Heard from sources that Mega Man & Bass was initially a SNES port of Mega Man 8 before being turned into a entirely new game because Inafune wanted to give kids and Mega Man fans who couldn't afford to get MM8 a entirely different experience overseas. This is frighteningly accurate.

I think in the Mega Man and Bass manga he gets too scared to fight Rock, and he sacrifices himself to protect Rock from Tengu Man
Well makes sense why he wanted to work for King and his group of robot masters.
@@agentblackbird9435 Really? He fought Rock 2 times to death!

Hey I always get pumped by Astro Man's theme as long as I am in that stage

ehhhhh why not
Your second rendition of Astro Man's theme sounds awesome, and this song will always pump me up.
Both V1 & V2 has this lay back feel within the genesis instruments.
Wraped Way Zone would be a Sonic-enough name for Astro Man's stage.
Nice one

Great work! i'd love an album of 8 MD covers, like your original attempt, but in lossless formats

This was my favorite stage in the game. I LOVE puzzles and abstract designs!
All these years and you've only gotten better; and even back then you were absolutely rocking it. Good stuff mate!
everything about 8 is just fire

Yeah, the Mega Ball trick is awesome for hard to reach areas. Just jump and as soon as you shoot it in mid-air press X again to get the boost.

What do Astro Man and N.Gin have in common?
They both speak with this irritating G Major filter.

Great music.

uh ok
Where is the remix? I can only hear the actual ps1 Astro Man theme XD

Wait. I just realized.
Why is astro man in both this game and the gameboy game
The GBA port of the Snes game, you mean?

How exactly do you make the FM patches needed for the remixes, or are they sampled
