Well done, Joseph. Loved the music!
Why would Krauss bother talking to Ray, anyway?
Why does a hunter stalk deer, only to nail its head up to a wall?
Because it makes for a fine object example to the next fuck-up that walks in and expects to get off scott free as they spill their asinine bullshit.
Barbara Leibert I'd argue it's to leave an impact on Ray's followers as opposed to Ray himsef
that song is awesome
I've heard him say it was a joke a few times, but he never said anything like that until after he got shown that he had no idea what he was talking about.
But I don't expect an apologist like Ray to actually be honest and admit that they messed up.
@Konstantin Simic saved from what?
@Konstantin Simic What sins?
And why is your god so petulant that he's gotta punish me over nothing?
Why would one of the world's smartest men waste one second to talk to a man that has an IQ of 70???? Why does ANY thinking person believe in a god in 2016?
Ive often wondered about the banana theory. It has ridges, so you can grip it. My male member has no ridges, not only can i grip it but also pull it. Does that also debunk god as creating man ?
I mean, surely our ancestors used to pull the pickle now and then ?
I don't think he's embarrassed, he probably still thinks God created the banana to fit in his hand.
I didn't notice any lying in the video, just playing song with the word lying in it does not make it a lie. You obviously dislike Ray Comfort for some reason but this is not a great hit job.
The Same thing I see !!
The routine included the coke bit first, then the banana. To fully understand the banana bit one must listen to the coke explanation. This is the taking out of context that Ray was speaking about......just saying.... This was a great interview between the two and has an incredible story of behind the scenes with Pen Jillette. In short - creation is from God. He created the heavens and the earth. He created us. Since he's the maker, he makes the rules. Please humble yourself and seek truth. There will be a Judgement Day for all including one for all those pedophiles in the church, the hypocrits; all will have to answer for the lawlessness. It comes down to our desires versus God. Repent and follow Jesus.
But this is literally what Ray believes, whether or not it's part of a "comedy routine" or not, Ray literally believes that the banana was designed by God and is this proof of his existence. Which is still laughable nonsense.
@@isaiahphillip4112 this is something i dont get atheist say hey i need facts and evidence but when it comes to a christian take him out of context in call him crazy
Ray a known narcissist just like his imaginary friend aka god.
To be fair, that routine fares much better with a live audience. Ray didn’t say he wasn’t presenting it as an argument - he just said it requires a live audience to be more effective. And that is true.
bulk and skull music! :D _awesome!_
did you see the fool where he showed clips of him doing that if you check his youtube channel nope just use his website steady taking him out of context
If Ray tries to say his banana thing was a joke and can't admit he was serious about it, then it would lead one to think that everything he says is a joke that just falls flat and this is why I think everything Ray says is funny.
Have you watched him tell the banana story before? Like when he had a live audience. Everyone laughed. He laughed too. It is tongue in cheek. Is it an argument? Probably, but it is a sarcastic argument.
@Konstantin Simic
Quiet please.
That song
Thank you! My tongue is tied on him right now! He’s in big trouble with Jesus, that is all
haha excellent
Is the banana thing the only “evidence” you have that Ray is a liar?
"If you tell a lie once, what does that make you? That's right, a liar!" - Ray Comfort, countless times. Just like there are many other examples online, e.g. in Potholer54's video _When it's OK to lie: When you're lying for Jesus._
@@noneofyourbusiness7055 I watched the potholer video, it seems to me that Comfort or whoever does the editing did lie. So I would say potholer caught him fair and square on that one. I don’t see however in this video where Ray calls it a “comedy” routine, I did hear him hear him say “routine” but not anything about it being a purely comedic sketch. Maybe I missed it though.
Pretty sure I've seen him claiming it's a joke, and doing his routine to a laughing audience at least once. Only the last few years though. It's pretty clear that "routine" is indeed shorthand for "comedy routine".
@@noneofyourbusiness7055 I suppose, though I don’t think it is meant to be wholly a comedy routine like he’s trying to become the next Kevin Hart and I’m not necessarily against him trying to lighten the mood in his usual routine. Though, I will admit I’m not really impressed with the whole banana demonstration any more.
Honestly, I would say that for the whole evolution vs creationism war going on. I don’t take it all so seriously anymore, I’ve come to a better understanding that people have the freedom to choice whatever they want to believe, that even though we are rather smart as a species, we are still rather finite in the universe and far from understanding something so outside us. There’s no reason limit our world views so stubbornly over disputes over a literal piece of fruit. Not that we shouldn’t try and understand the Earth. I’m just trying to say that in the face of the situation we humans find ourselves in, I don’t think it’s so insane if someone chooses to go with trusting in Jesus. There is so much more to this topic and life and to try it hold all up on simple arguments like the banana one or the “evolution is real so God doesn’t exist” one, it just seems like a huge waste of time to me.
Well sure people can believe what they want. The problem with the likes of Ray, though, is the active misrepresentation of facts they were corrected on numerous times (bananas were literally created through human-applied evolution). His channel repeatedly claimed they "target the conscience [i.e. appeal to emotion] and circumnavigate the intellect" to manipulate people. Since this was pointed out, they censor a great number of variations on their own statement from all of their platforms. That's called deception, and creationist organisations are infamous for it. I also don't see anyone claiming "evolution so no god", since evolution was defined by a christian, based on the work of a christian's taxonomy, is researched by many christians, accepted by the majority of christians, and even seems to be a theory of which the majority of supporters are christian. I've literally lost count of the number of _flat-Earth_ creationists I've seen using that exact same false dichotomy fallacy as the likes of Ray.
LOL
