#3 Random brick pannel : i was wondering about the best method to offset ( scale down each brick ) i tried to list item then use the offset command but the lines were overlapping, also thought about using scale command like you did in hexagons, but couldn't calculate the center of each panel.
because lunchbox uses a simple algorithm to produce the staggered panels if you have a high changing curvature on your surface if you extrude the panels in the normal direction they will either intersect or produce a gap. for realistic modeling of the bricks, I prefer using Brick design in Rhino ruclips.net/video/dFcGL-PkyZU/видео.html

never mind I found your other brick design video :) I'm subscribing!

is possible create layers in grasshopper with lunchbox, one example pleaseeee !!
Hi, would you please teach how to use the pattern on the poly surface?
You have to make poly surface to surface. You can use rhino command, Explode. Hope this would be helpful to you :D
Can you tell us how to make thickness?
Muchas gracias 👏
🙏
Lunchbox is not showing in my grasshopper toolbar after I installed it by adding the folder to the the components forlder. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks man
You're welcome
i cannot download the lunchbox plugin. it says " 404 Not Found. Lunchbox was not found on this server."
Thanks for letting us know... The links been updated
It seems most panels stay 2D. How can, for instance, the brickwork be extruded and make sure there is no overlap between the bricks nor a too big gap?
because lunchbox uses a simple algorithm to produce the staggered panels if you have a high changing curvature on your surface if you extrude the panels in the normal direction they will either intersect or produce a gap. for realistic modeling of the bricks, I prefer using Brick design in Rhino
