For so long, I've though "who else could possibly love both anime and jazz?" These pieces make me feel connected and understood in a way that leaves me lost for words.
Cowboy Bebop, one of the biggest anime ever, has a huge jazz soundtrack.
@@KoalaTContent Haha, granted, yes, Bebop does have a jazz heavy OST. That being said, however popular it may be, it is still only ONE anime series which prominently features jazz in its soundtrack and utilizes some of the themes and ideologies of jazz in it's storytelling and overall aesthetic. In the intervening time, I've only come across two other series where jazz is prominent: Kids on the Slope and to an extent Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. So, not very common. That being said, if you know of any more, I'd LOVE to hear about them so I can check them out!
@@SixofQueens For the most part yeah it's pretty rare. There are a lot of jazz covers though; Platina Jazz is a great channel with tons of jazz covers for anime songs
@@KoalaTContent Yeah, Platina Jazz is pretty great, discovered them a little over 2 years ago (after writing the initial post) and put a big smile on my face when I did!

Yeah, the blue T-shirt threw me off too, I just think you outta stick with a good ol' fashion button up when it comes to suits but hey, it doesn't look half bad for him. Kinda gives off a "I'm a bit lazy, and don't really want to be here" sorta look which is an interesting way to show up to something so formal. But then we have to ask the question if they're really at a formal event? Oh well, I guess we'll never know friend.

Nah, it's the grey shirt. All the rest have a nice splash of colour to them, in contrast. But his shirt is so monochrome, so weird and different...
You both definitely have a point. Grey is really a bland color compared to the rest and the popped collar was irksome but if we're talking about misfits the belt the blue haired girl is wearing? Really? I feel like it should be more vibrant if she's looking for a nice splash of color but instead she has a dull red (probably maroon but god forbid that) and just doesn't really add much at all... sigh, I just don't know. They all look good but just some rookie mistakes.

For those of you that liked this, you should probably check out the other Studio Tram songs/albums. They are wonderful.
The song is suppose to make you feel good, but i have tears dripping from eyes...
Everyones talking about anaru but thematically speaking she wore outfits like this to stand out and avoid her true self and considering menma is in the lineup still this is before the ending so anaru is still trying to get attention at this point

Well, I have the ending of Kai and a song called "Beyond the Sky (Sora no Mukou)". The latter is definitely in the VN, but I'm not sure whether it occurs in the anime since I haven't seen the second season yet.

@Qonnel: Ooh! Taishou A? I love that song! One of Higurashi's best! Please do post it, if possible~! As for beyond the sky, I believe that was only in the Kai VN. I don't think it was in the anime. Still a nice song, though.

I haven't seen this show, but this song makes me feel like I should. Without even knowing any of the characters, I somehow just know I will shed a tear for their struggles.
Along Came A Spider my personal favorite slice of life. There's an anime, and then a movie to show what they're doing 10 years after the finale. It's not based off a manga, so it's just a pure creation.
