Sir, I suggest you can go with new Himalayan for the below mentioned reasons. 1. Bigger engine with more power and torque. 2. Switchable ABS and different ride modes 3. Big instrument cluster with Plenty of information available at flick of a button. 4. Bigger fuel tank to give you long range before you need refueling again. 5. Pan India RE service network and support. 6. Very reasonable service cost and Road Side Assistsnce as compared to BMW. Hope it helps 😊
I heard the word handlebar risers. I couldn’t understand what you said . Wasn’t it comfortable enough in stock position? But would you consider risers in the future?
Dear I have got handle bar risers installed in my BMW 310GS as i felt the need while saddling. It made my riding angle more comfortable as i didnt have to bend much. Though when I drove the new Himalayan 450, I didn't feel the need to install one. It varies from individual to individual. When I stood up on the foot pegs of new Himalayan, my arms could reach handle bar comfortablly. I hope I was able to answer your query. Thanks for watching 😊
Dear, it all depends what height you have. Because the taller windshield is approx 10cm tall and costs around 4k. So, do give it a try while you sit on the bike to gauge the difference in height. If you are tall enough, it might not serve your purpose other than looks. Hope it helps.
Sir, first of all I congratulate you on having the idea of motorcycling again. Even I'm 5.6 feet tall and I was comfortable with the seat height. There is an option to lower the stock seat by 20mm by installing the low height seat which would bring the seat height to 805 mm. And you would feel more comfortable. Please visit nearby showroom to experience and test drive the bike and try to ride a little longer so that you are fully convinced that you are taking the right decision. Hope it helps 😊
Yes, I can understand. It's a new bike and accessories will take some time to arrive at the dealership. Be in touch with the dealership for your requirement so that you can buy as soon as it comes in stock. All the best dear.
I've yet to see a Royal Enfield machine which does not have some manufacturing issues or design flaws. They are like HD of the east.... Both manufacture temperamental machines. No peace of mind once you buy a RE or a HD From my Hero Honda CD100 to Honda Navi to Honda CB350 to Honda Hornet 2.0.... none of the machines ever gave me a reason for any anxiety or a heartburn. 😌 🙏 A machine is a machine at the end of a day. No brand is worth dying for.
Sir trust me, I had the same perception before and generally that was the image RE was carrying. But RE has drastically improved it's built Quality and Reliability. With the new set of J series Engines, they have minimized the vibrations and snags. I am a user since 2021 when I bought my Classic Reborn and what a fabulous bike it is. Not even a single breakdown ever since purchase. I have had long trips like Leh Ladhakh, Srinagar, Gurez Valley, Lauhal and Spiti and the performance has been exceptionally good. Not even a single bolt went lose. I am totally satisfied with current generation RE bike. ☺️ Also, I totally agree with you on Honda bikes. Even I had a Honda CB350 Highness, for almost a year and I loved the way it handled. Smooth engine, extremely light clutch, great suspension, breaking and what not. Wishing you the best Sir, Thanks for watching 😊
I'm 62 my child ,& a lifetime member of HOG... Riding is perspective not a perception. I've owned almost every brand under the sun. I test ride my machines only after I buy them. What makes you think that I've not driven the 450.? One can only compare the machines, when you ridden the much advance and higher capacity machines under extreme conditions. Passion cannot be calculated by value for money. If considering the 450 as a commuter daily use machine, then it's a good machine...but take it to extreme level of offloading or cross country... The engine oil will be boiling like a milk in the chamber. Engineering & quality control is much more important factor than design & features in building up machines. 😌 🙏 Live Long N Prosper
Mileage New Himalayan ka approx 24 - 25 kmpl ka hai. Baki individual driving habits pe depend karta hai. On-road price depend karega ke konse city ki registration hai aur konsa model aap select karte ho. Ex showroom 2.85 lakhs se start hai. Approx 3.5 lakhs ki on road price expect kar sakte ho aap.
Some meters are missing, I just watched another video of the same Himalayan bike there that is built in 3 meters, I don't know why this bike has a single-meter. This bike looks like Hunter which has a single meter.
The new Himalayam 450 has single 4" circular TFT display while previous Himalayan 411 had 3 meters. Pls don't get confused. This video is on newly launched Himalayan 450. Hope it helps.
Yes dear, the accessories are not available. The bike which I used in the video was installed with low seat height which makes seat height to 805 mm. As a special case I got a chance to experience with low seat height. However, low seat and other accessories have not arrived at the RE showrooms. Hope it helps!!

Ok thanks for your reply.
There is a higher windscreen available. Is that an option worth changing?
