I bought Astrolito blindly after reading a lot about it and the dedication they put into the most advanced technology possible and once they got it they spent 8 months tuning it correctly how they really wanted it to sound, even creating a resonance chamber to end up with the sound they always had in mind, Ken himself says that although it is not his most expensive monitor from an objective point of view it is the most technically capable in ear that the brand has created, I combine it with several portable sources and it combines well with all of them although depending on the source the sound will be warmer or more resolute, my favorite combination for synergy and resolving capacity is with ANGEL EARMEN, this combination is something mind-blowing... power, dynamics, speed, a lot of air with transparency and super resolute
Astrolith is my IEM of the year. Followed by the extremely underrated QDC Emperor with it's incredible treble & rich sound... people are quick to say that it's 'dark' but once you become attuned to it, you'll see it's just very rich - 15 drivers all doing the business.
The Moon Rover actually has 12 mm planar. And for people wanting to try these. You can find them at very good prices on Classified section of headfi. And you can get the supermoon for $799 on drop. Haven't tried the astrolith or supermoon. But i owned the moon rover and it was neutral and very detailed and musical. Wonderful iem.
Great vid. Actually, Astrolit cost x3 to supermoon, at 2nd market*. Thats because astro new and hiped model, sumermoon old and there was many sales, on massdrop for 700 and other. I own supermoon, i try rovers, they a bit boring to me. Also they dont have vent that relieves pressure. Maybe will try astro in future, with 2k msrp it would be bank for a buk after some time) for ~1.2k or so
After listening to everything campfire had to offer besides the trifecta, I purchased the moon rover instead of the super moon. I mainly listen to jazz and everything on my playlist sounded great on the moon rover and slightly more resolving than the super moon.
@@sasquatchcrewI tried the fathoms and I almost purchased them but the terrible especially hi hats were too spicy lol. Will be purchasing the Clara’s hopefully by the end of this year. What a wonderful iem
@ its true I picked up the sabers from the campfire market and it still has a BA top hiss in metal music for sure, the dd also have points of incoherency in video games as well depending on noise angle. otherwise they r great for everything else
@@sasquatchcrewI honestly think the only company that does good ba iems is symphonium. The meteors are still one of my favorite iems under 1k. I was shocked when I discovered it was an all ba iem. I’m interested in trying the u12t tho just haven’t had the opportunity
For those of us who own and love Astrolith, is it still worth pursuing the Trifecta? My library has a lot of classic rock and music from the 1950s-1990s and all of it sounds incredible on the Astrolith. Just trying to decide if Trifecta would be worth it for a different experience.
Don't bother getting any tips wait for the official release of the Astrolith slipovers from Campfire. I have just received a beta pair and they are fantastic.

Possibly the favourite earphone in my collection is a Campfire (the Dorado).
Thank you for the comparison video, Sajid!

Great vid.

I am intrigued
When you put the moon rovers in, do they have a very prominent suction feeling?
