My Paxton novi 2200SL doesn’t whine at all in my 2013 GT… it’s tuned to 697 RWHP on 91 octane… the loudest thing about the supercharger is the blowoff valve 😆 sounds like a jet!!
This is definitely an upgrade I want to do down the road to mine. The only thing is I’m going to hold off till I upgrade the engine internals so that way if I want to pully down I know the bottom end can take it 😊
I’ve been thinking about supercharging my 4.0 SOHC Ranger and I found your video to be very informative. Since I plan to do some towing with my truck, it sounds like a roots type might be a better choice. Thanks! 😊
Hey bro you need to add a jms pedalmax to your car. I did it to my 2006 lincoln town car. And oh, my God the throttle response was crazy fast. Not to mention it holds the gears longer. Like normally when taking off at a dead stop it would only rev to like 3k before it would shift gears. But when I turn on the jms pedalmax to say 75% it'll shift it at 5krpm to 6krpm. Oh, and it revs really quick now. It's the best mod I've done to my car. Well, that and the Roush axle back exhaust.
Interesting! Thanks for the video. (Thinking)... I want to install a supercharger on to my 1.4 liter cruze, and delete these constantly cracking turbos. I wonder about a supercharger designed for low rPm ONLY that would disengage at higher rpms with a device like an air conditioner clutch. 🤔 but then the air would need a waste gate type path to enter in to this now naturally aspirated engine. I'll keep thinking.
My knowledge about belt driven superchargers is limited to the old Paxtons used on Studebakers. Just things I've picked up, never owned one. Those had a variable speed ball drive so that the supercharger had more boost at low speeds w/o overboosting at high RPM. Centrifugal superchargers, belt or turbo, have very non-linear boost curves. Centrifugals, rotary vane, and scroll superchargers are more efficient than Roots types because the compression takes place in the unit, and not in the manifold. 5,000 mile oil change? That's insane. My Eaton on my GM 3.8 goes 100,000 miles, per recommendation. The old oil is the nastiest smelling oil you will ever smell by many times over. It's a synthetic and all it does is lube the two rotor gears. Go figger.
Hey man. I need to know where you got that sticker on the radiator cover. The Blank Spot drives me nuts I've been looking for something to put there on my car. That's perfect.
You have the same whistle in bumper-to-bumper traffic that you sitting there for an hour that your tachometer is reading 500 RPM and you speedometer 0 like to move one foot in full boost mode
That’s the noise the actual supercharger makes you would either need that supercharger or one built similar won’t sound exactly the same, but most of them have that whine especially the bigger they are
Hello Mach 1 Cody! This is Nove from AISKITS, I watched your channel it’s really exciting and impressive. This is a newly launched LED headlight! You can see this LED headlight, is not cool?it is our latest development of a product! In the United States, there are many classic cars, they are our closest partners! Now they may need some upgrades to accompany us better. Replacing and upgrading our headlights does more than making driving safer. They improve the look of your vehicle as well as its performance. LED bulbs have a lower power pull on your vehicle’s battery and system. They also give our vehicle a fresh and new feel with bright white light. I was wondering if you could do a share for it on your RUclips: • Introduction • Overview of features • Actual driving footage with the bulbs • Amazon link on the description for viewers interested in buying the product." Please let me know if this is OK with you. Really looking forward to working with you. Best wish, Nove

There is a Novidem centrifugal supercharger for the 350z and you can straight up push a button to have boost or... Not.
It's amazing tech!
Power delivery is exponential with a centrifugal supercharger… unlike with a twin screw where power delivery is linear
That supercharger sounds like it's having fun.
Oh man learned a lot that I didn’t know thanks for the content bro!
Yessir🏎️

Tvs ftw, instant torque! But I do love the jet sounds centrifugal make.
The sound is my favorite part! My next v8 will have a roots/twinscrew supercharger!gotta try em all!
@@CodyDriven yessir! You would love it man! That whine with that instant torque. It's wild. Maybe a termi in your future??? 🤔🤔🤔
But die up top. There are some centrifugal that make power in the entire rpm band all while screaming up top
I wish I could keep my Shaker functional with any kit
You can keep the shaker installed with most kits but keep it functional with regular turbo

I heard 4.10 gears you don't get any traction when you add boost?
Which cam did you use with this procharger
Great and informative video. Thinking about one for my 01' COBRA. Did you install it yourself?
Yup! I got videos walking through the install!
Nice build

Crazy sentence my guy
How is the drivability? Trying to decide between a tvs and a centrifugal. Heard the drivability is now as smooth. Wondering what you have experienced.
Drives like stock under 2500rpm … over 3500rpm the boost starts kicking in exponentially… maximum horsepower is achieved at the redline
What mufflers are you running yours sounds amazing!
No mufflers😏
How do i get the hellcat whining sound as it speeds up?
That’s the noise the actual supercharger makes you would either need that supercharger or one built similar won’t sound exactly the same, but most of them have that whine especially the bigger they are
Mmmm, I've heard 4.10 gears aren't good for supercharger. 🤔
If you want it louder get the big red blow off valve from procharger😏

Centrifugal compressors are very expensive.
It’s the most expensive way to boost an engine
Last time I checked the prices of twin screw and centrifugal kits for popular V8 options were in the same range.
