    I literally knew nothing about Muse. Now I feel comfortable enough to save the 10k I was getting ready to give someone and update my website myself over a weekend. One of the best tutorials I have seen online to date.

      Just a tip for your website btw, I'm not a Muse Expert, as you are, but I am a graphic designer. Try not to use the Underline text option, it doesn't look very nice, and maybe find a nicer serif, or sans serif font to use.

    • @iambalkan
      @iambalkan 7 лет назад +3

      Kimberly Santos coding isn't that hard. You can learn Html 5 & css3 pretty fast. Combine it with a responsive framework like bootstrap & boom there's your website .. but .. if you want interaction & effects you'll need to know php & javascript .. that's a little tricky but not that hard either. Most important of all .. din't stop keep going .. it will take you at least 4+ years to become a "good/not bad" webdesigner.
      Using this software won't make you pro. What if a customer wants specific kind of stuff which muse doesn't have but you don't have coding skills well there goes the money $$$.

    Excellent video. I have a site built using Muse and am looking to completely rework it now that Muse offers responsive functionality. I have a problem/question. All my asset links are broken because I've moved my "website" folder around. I understand that the file path has changed and that's the reason for the break. My question is, how do I contain everything so that asset links won't get broken and I can move my file in the of chance I need to? Is there a way to even do that? Thanks again for the video and for creating such excellent software.

    Great Tutorial for building a web site in MUSE. I am just homesite coder for many decades. Question I have with this is this. Can the top images of the logo and the mountain be put in a frame environment and if so, how? Another question would be this. Because I develope web sites in vbscript code, my data driven web pages validate information and inserts data into SQL and SMTP. I guess I would need to play with this to make it work properly but is there a code behind interface with MUSE so that I can drop my vbscript code? In fact my login area and data driven web pages are all using vbscript. I am guessing that I would need to navigate outside of the MUSE application to the data driven web forms and login area separately. Let me know what you think.

    I’m new to Adobe Muse and a novice. I may have not done the 1st page right but here’s what I’ve done. I made the 1st page which is the home page when you go to my site. It looks good on all devices including mobile. (I removed everything on blank page that popped up in the beginning but white square at top and thats where I put my image. I made one single image with logo and text and text around logos to make as clickable links to their pages associated with that button. I made each text I wanted as hyperlink by doing the Photoshop button option. On the other pages I want exactly the same image on top but will add other info at bottom. I need to make each other page the exactly same image & dimensions at top. I made one additional page but when I upload it overrides the main index one. How do I make 5 other pages with same image and clickable link at top like main page. Also, how do hyperlink each additional pages to assigned clickable button to each link?
    How to I upload to fall in order on my site by pages?
    -GP

    Hi, I'm just trying this product and some question come to my mind:
    1) This generates html, css and javascript automatically I guess, what if I need to add my own javascript? Let's say for example that I wanna change the catalog the page shows depending on the user or the country. Is this easy to achieve?
    2) What about screen resolution and browser compatibility? I mean, does the webpage look in a 1092 x 738 screen the same as in a 5012 x 4800?
